I gave this to a friend as a Birthday gift. Ran to cycles without hot dog and bun to clean it and then we cooked two hot dogs and buns. You have a "doneness" controller (just like a regular toaster) so on the second set of hot dogs and buns we got it right. This toast did a Great job at heating the hot dog as well as the buns. (hogie buns are too big and you have to break them in half to use, as long as you don't mind the bun to be separated in 2 pieces). My friend Loves this Hot dog and bun cooker... !!! Don't forget to clean the tray out when done using, it can smoke if not cleaned out.

This is cute but isn't very good...you have to almost brake the bun to put it in and doesn't toast the whole bun either...the hot dog gets warm but not hot..it looks cute on the counter tho

It looks cool. But it’ll get old. Other devices do a better job. It’s good for $20 though. Cleaning it is meh

Heats hot dog buns unevenly. Heats only the smallest hot dogs. And does not do an effective job of that. The color is wonderfully nostalgic. The rest ... forget this itme and go to a drive-in.

It's a bad product. Hot dogs have to be small or medium size. Can't stuff a chicken sausage. Hotdog holder tilts to side so when its done cooking it won't retract the hotdogs all the way out. The worst part is when you try to toast the buns. I bought smallest Wonder bread buns, and they barely fit in there. After burning the edges, when the toaster sprang back out both buns broke in half. It was a really mess and painful process to fish out those partly burnt buns from a hot toaster. This product is not for kids or even teenagers it can burn or even electrocute them. I bought it for $10 and its not even worth that much.
