    If you have the original Blu-ray release, keep it for the extras. But you must get this classic thriller for the new extras and especially for the improved picture and sound quality that Criterion is known for. And check out that great cover!

    In my opinion Notorious is Hitchcock's second best film (second only to Vertigo). Anyone with any interest in Hitchcock should watch this immediately. And the Criterion blu ray is fantastic!

    Terrific rendition of an old Hitchcock movie. Great story line and match up between Grant and Bacall.

    This is very good Hitchcock movie. If you are at all a fan of Hitchcock or spy/undercover stories, you should definitely watch this. All the main characters are very well acted and the cinematography is excellent to boot. The video quality is good, although not quite as good as other films from the time period that have been restored. This seems to be more of an issue with some of the source material than the transfer itself. However, this is certainly the best the film has ever looked, at least on a home video format. Audio quality is very good.
