Just started playing round with these and they r dope. Sound is so crisp. I'm on a whole other frequency level now. I see people here shouting about bluetooth and connection cut outs. I don't get any of that. Drop some coin, splurge on a phone that can handle these sexy things and your problems will end right there! This technology, dammm we're living in 2030 here!

IQbuds are truly an awesome pair of headphones. The sound quality top notch and the customisable noise cancellation and augmented audio works very well. The battery life is also very good and a full charge only takes 1 hour. They fit very comfortably and stays is even during a workout. Phone calls are clear and touch tap works great. The android app compliments these headphone very nicely although it would be nice if touch tap sequences could be customisable via the app. IQbuds has taken the ordinary earbud to the next level!

Wow are these impressive after you realise what you're doing. They're named intelligent earbuds for a reason, and I guess for about a week they were too smart for me, but once you understand the optimal settings and app profiles for your ears, get ready for your life to change. Now, I seamlessly move between music and conversations without doing a thing! It feels pretty groundbreaking to have your favourite tune in your ear and chat to those around you without, literally, missing a single beat. The sound quality is top notch, the noise cancellation is decent (music mode is best for this) and the boost in conversation volume and quality in loud areas is incredible. These have become a must at every social event. Appearance wise, they are sleek and stylish. To most people, you might look like you've stepped off the set of a Black Mirror episode, though hearing "you look like you're from the future" is especially satisfying to listen to through your ahead-of-its-time iqbuds. One thing I can't stress enough is patience. Oh, and also customisation. It took me a while to understand the different settings and terminology Nuheara use in their app as well as the best fit for my ear. Definitely watch all the support videos on their website (they are always updating them), pester their customer support with questions (I have found them pretty helpful) and don't feel dismayed if they don't initially meet your expectations. I almost gave up and sent them back, but just at that dejected moment I worked out the perfect settings, earbud fit and position for my ears. I'm so glad I didn't give up. I would have missed out on bionic hearing otherwise.

Active noise cancellation & hearing augmentation work a treat! Got my pair through indiegogo campaign and now ordered a second set for my better half. Sound quality is also great, I did have to turn up the bass through the app a little to suit my liking - can only recommend!

I have just returned my IQbuds to Best Buy after 10 days of use (wearing them for ~2 hours a day in various situations). I bought them specifically to help me in the following 4 situations: 1. Hearing people speak in loud bars and restaurants – I often have difficulty hearing over the noise. 2. While watching television – I often struggle to hear dialog at the volume that the rest of family normally watches. If I turn the volume up so I can hear, they complain it is too loud. I have been wearing IR headphones, but this means I am unable to hear the conversation in the room so find I am constantly taking them on and off. I thought the IQBuds would give me the best of both worlds – augmented hearing while still able to hear the family. 3. As noise canceling headphones while flying. 4. To listen to music (and make phone calls) while working out. Here is how I would rate the IQBuds ability to handle each of these four situations using a 1-5 scale with 5 being fantastic. 1. Conversation in Bars = 3. It worked, but did not dampen the background noise as much as I expected. 2. Hearing the TV = 1. Completely useless. What is not clear in the marketing material is that these headphones do NOT amplify or increase the volume of any external noise. All they do is reduce any background noise. This means that if you cannot hear someone speaking in a silent room without the IQBuds, you still will not be able to hear them while wearing them – as they will be at exactly the same volume. The app’s volume controls only allow you to reduce the sound, not increase it above its actual real world volume. This was a major disappointment. 3. Noise Cancelling ability = 1. Completely useless. I fiddled this for about 2 hours trying all the settings as well as the various ear bud tips while playing recorded tracks from inside a plane as well as a train. In both cases there was no discernable reduction in the noise (there is a place in the app where you can supposedly override the noise cancelling – switching back and forth – I could not tell any difference between the two settings. In contrast, I also tried a pair of Bose QuietComfort 20 earbuds using the same sounds. As soon as I put them on, both the plane and train noise almost completely disappeared. 4. Listening to Music: = 4. This was overall pretty good and was the only reason I thought about keeping them. The buds were very comfortable and snug in my ears and I never thought they would fall out while on a tread mill. It was great not having wires to get tangled up and I did not experience any blue tooth connection issues (the phone was on the console in front of me). All in all the sound quality was very good including making phone calls. The people on the other end had no issues hearing me and said the voice quality was good. A couple of other annoyances: 1. The buds have touch controls that are very sensitive. I found that I would touch the buds to realign them from time to time which would cause some action to start – such as switching from music to plane mode or, most annoyingly, starting google search. I wish there was a means to tell the buds when you mean to use the controls – such as saying “OK buds!” or having to touch the buds with 2 fingers instead of one. 2. The app is a bit buggy. You can set up to 4 favorite modes (train, restaurant, place, office, music, etc) and then cycle through them directly by touching the buds. I found that no matter how many favorites you defined, the buds would only cycle through 2 modes – and these appeared to be random. So in the end I decided to return them as it was hard justifying the price for what it turned out to be are just nice wireless headphones. I will keep on any eye on this company – as this is only release one – so they may still get closer to what I was hoping for.

Music sound is outstanding, good clarity and range, one of the best I’ve seen (been a DJ for 10years). Bluetooth dropped out a couple of times but I worked out it was the phones issue not the earbuds, so that got sorted real quick. The SINC works brilliantly and does exactly what it is meant to do. It also links well with Siri which is very handy. One gripe I had was the lack of information in regards to how to set up the Buds and also the App. Understandably this is still early days and now Nuheara have many on-line videos which has now resolved this issue.

I have used noice cancelation headphones and various earphones but non like this. Wow ! I can control what I want to hear based on the situation. technology is several years ahead, no wonder it takes time to learn how to controll the app and get the best out of these. My Dad tried these and he think it is also improving his hearing, will buy another pair for him.

These buds are sensational for anyone who has trouble hearing an a crowded environment. I have used these in a bar and also trying to hear my brother who has been having difficult talking after a stroke. I am no expert when it comes to music quality, but everything I listen too sounds chrisp and clear. I am still playing with the settings though.

I wasn't sure it would live up to the hype but boy was i wrong. Fantastic headphones on so my many levels, the ability to control your surroundings is incredible. The App is a bit hard to navigate at the start but you really do need to read the user manual and tutorials online to fully understand what these buds are capable of. Couldn't be happier!!

Never thought I'd be spending this kind of money for a pair of headphones, but I do have 20% hearing loss in my left ear and reviews for the iQbuds have been good - so I decided to try them out as well and I'm very very happy. Music quality is good and the fact that I can change the volume level between the left & right earbud help me to hear equally and I get the extra little boost I needed :-) Again, the iQbuds are worth every single cent!

These things are absolutely stunning small hearing devices which give the wearer superman capabilities! Please DO NOT believe what all the negative shills on behalf of some of these very big Multi-National Corporations get paid to negatively post about them all over the internet. These ARE 'BEST BUY' on the market simple fact.

I've always had earphones but never really used them and would generally end up losing them or giving them away. It obviously took a big commitment to spend $300 on them but I decided I want a good pair for once and I don’t regret it, I use them everywhere mostly in the office where I can listen to music but still remain engaged with my surroundings. Best purchase I have made in a long time.

Took a day to get used to the way voices sounded through the buds, bud now I am used to that, I couldn't do without it. Great to be able to listen to music and still be aware of my surroundings.

awesome sound and features i work in a bar and this has just made my life so much easier i can hear everything clearly and The charge time is MUCH longer than 4 hours more like 8 hours

The sound is OK and setup was easy. So far comfortable to war. However, given the fact that noise cancelation pretty much doesn't work they are way way overpriced. App is also very bad.

The $300 price tag is nothing once you give these a try. Absolutely the best earbuds I have ever tried (wired or wireless) and actually deliver on their promises, plus more. Never been happier with a purchase. If I could give more stars than 5 I would!

Very happy with my purchase, does everything its meant to do and more. The only problem I have is my teenage son keeps taking them to school so i don't get use them as much as i'd like too.
