Voice quality is extremely poor. The design and functionality is so sad. Returned these pathetic headset for the Bose NC 700.

These are very good headphones, the innovation they have is really cool.
In the last 5 years, I have owned and tried 5 different types of headphones, a skullcandy mesh, Sony extra bass wireless, Beats Studio, Nuraphones, and lately Skullcany Crusher ANC.
Liked:
-This has the better ANC and ambient mode I ever used before.
-Well made, good material. solid.
-Good battery life
-Good bass
Dislike:
- BASS DISTORTION: The Bass on the Nura's is really good BUT by the time it turns like messy, sometimes sounds like a broken speaker when you move your head and they lost the perfect fit.
-AVERAGE SOUND QUALITY: The sound quality is average because they sound like earbuds, after all, they lack highs.
- PAINFULL TO USE: prolonged periods of time. I used them for 3 months, at the beginning my ears hurt a lot, I wasn't able to use them more than 15 minutes. A time later I got used to them but noticed they are really hot on my ears, start getting a lot but a LOT of sweat and itchiness in my ear's skin.
-NOT ENOUGH EXTERNAL CONTROLS: the lack of external controls makes them really unpractical, have to choose among 8 basic functions (play, stop, next song, previous song, ambient mode, ANC mode, volume up and volume down) with just 4 buttons, don't make sense at all.
NO POWER BUTTON: they turned on themselves in my backpack and start messing with my car Bluetooth all the time or when I move them from one place to another in my home it turns on themselves messing my calls or whatever I was doing.
- THE CABLES: they use their unique designed cables to charge and AUX input, why don't use standard ones like Micro or type C USB ports even lighting from apple could be acceptable. they push you to buy their own cables for $20 or more.
- NO BATTERY, NO FUN: if the battery runs out you cannot use then at all while charging.
For a $400 headphones? don't worth it, $150-$200 maybe but not $400.

Great sound; questionable comfort

Biggest Negative/ Reason I returned: I kept these for about a week. The company says they will get more comfortable but they never did - they actually became where I could not use them even for a 15 minute ride home without pain. They are tight like a vice-grip on your head and the ear-plugs felt like they rested on a bone in my ear,
I wanted these for car rides and mowing as well as the occasional critical listening. I could not use them for my needs / wants.
I also believe there was a slight spike in the treble. It seemed to favor one certain pitch among the others. I would imagine around 4-6k and maybe around 8-10k. Not enough to say it sounded bad, but I would say it could eventually cause some listening fatigue.
Positive: Easy to use out of the box. Put on the headphones and they tell you what to do. Download an app that was simple to set up.
Modern convenience: feature loaded like a Mercedes. Elegant and quality feel. Everything but the comfort was state of the art. All it was missing compared to the Bose QC 35ii is a built-in Alexa.
I was getting into the sound with the immersion turned up. It seemed to take away some of the harshness/spike in the treble. They sounded a lot like the Sennheiser HD 600 with immersion all the way down, but not quite as silky highs and smooth midrange or as noticeable quick accurate bass but not far away. In fact, With immersion mode up about 1/2 to a little more of the way, with the music I listen to, they were sounding very much like a live concert, something the HD 600 doesn't really replicate. So, if I could have worn them more to get a good feel for the sound, they might have been a great complement set that gave a differed experience.
All in all, I will be looking for this company in the future. I think Nura is top of the line if you can accept the comfort. I couldn't deal with the discomfort anymore.

I seen commercials and promos with this headphones, so I thought I'd give them a try. Definitely overhyped and underwhelming. Maybe version 2 will be better.

The best audio device I have ever used by far, and I have tried many. Personalized hearing is awesome technology and will revolutionize the headphone market. Shocking that it hasn’t been done before. The traditional headphone manufacturers can’t compete with this. How can they when nuraphone can make a device custom tuned for each individual. I hope nura is hiring, because I want to work there!
Setup took me just over a minute and was smooth. Social Mode is amazing!

I got these for my 19-year-old son who loves music. They were quick and easy to set up and he couldn’t believe the difference in sound compared to other headphones. Since they can be personalized for more than one user, my other son tried them as well. He wants his own pair now! They are well worth the price compared to other headphones. I definitely recommend these!

I recently purchased these headphone for my son to replace a pair of Beats where its battery can't hold a charge. A friend recommended these and I am so happy they did. The sound can be personalized to 3 different people. My husband described it as sharing a pair of binoculars - everyone needs them adjusted a little bit different. We are all AMAZED at what we are hearing with these headphones. I really couldn't be more pleased.

I was skeptical when a buddy told me about these but I couldn't have been more wrong. The Nuraphone is by far the absolute best sounding, best performing, and best packaged headphone on the market today. I've had Bose, B&W, and Beats and they aren't even close in terms of quality, comfort, sound, and connectivity. And the Nura app that customizes the music profile to your hearing profile is phenomenal! I literally couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

I could go on and on about how much I love my Nuras, or how they're one of my most prized possessions, but I'll just tell you what a buyer would like to know upfront, no bs.
The quality of the sound is near perfect.
The only way youre even going to find legitimate competitors is to spend over $1500 and have a very specialized setup.
The bass is clean, and will be more than you want on the high end. (Used to have 4 12's on 4k watts in my trunk, but I only set the the bass to 70% on my Nuras).
Bottom line, if you can spend $400 on headphones,
get these.
If you can only spend $200-300 on headphones,
save up for these.
If you can only spend $1-150, don't.
Headphones in that range are okay for something to throw away within 6 months, but they're ALL a waste of money at that price range, no exceptions.

Mannnnnn if you are a music lover please please dont miss it, in search of good quality i have tried all the renowned brands and also cheep ones and spent lot of money, i tried different varieties like earbuds, over the ear big headphones. But this i think is no way comparable to any of them i tried. Please please dont miss it, the first impression will not be good, because it will take you to a different level of quality which will get into you and gets deeper and deeper than you ever imagine. just stay with it for a couple of hours and especially close your eyes and you will really forget the world.

I have tried and bought dozens of high end headphones in search of a balance of noise isolation and high fidelity.
I’ve been waiting for something as revolutionary as the Nura ‘phones— the app detects my how I have hearing loss (in a rock band as a kid) in some frequencies— and compensates. I’m relistening to things and hearing audio details I’ve been missing previously. I’m buying another pair for my college student— he’ll freak when he hears how insanely great these are compared to his Beats phones.
They are unusual to look at, buy mind blowingly great sounds and immersion

Nuraphone sets a new bar in sound quality. It personalizes and adapts the sound experience to each individual by setting up a profile for each ear. I have not seen or listen to anything like it.

I have been using the Nura headset for a few days and am extremely happy. They sound better than my wife's Bose QC35's and they are simple to use and setup for someone with little technical ability like myself. I highly recommend these for anyone that cares about quality of design and sound perfection.

I’m not an audiophile but I love listening to all types of music. I’ve owned Sony, Bose and Beats, these are by far the easiest to set up and most adaptable for different ears- the tech really works! Highly recommend the spend, won’t be sorry!
