I put some ice and strawberries in and hit smoothie button and came out as smooth as can be. Well the taste wasn't great but no fear. It came with a book of recipes I can start trying.

Worth the money

Gets used everyday and will turn ice to snow in seconds. The IQ is great, machine senses when food or ice is done and shuts off

Surprising quiet... for a blender

The blade design allows for almost an instananeous puree! I shoved rhe blender full of halved tomatoes and pressed puree. It automatically does this countdown thing and pauses to allow the bigger chunks to sink to the bottom. My 11 year old is now obsessed with making smoothies. This thing is also surprising quiet... at least compared to the horrific grating my basic blender from 2006 used to make! Very pleased with my purchase.
