This is a very nicely and thoughtfully built appliance. The blender itself is very powerful and has no problems with even the most difficult items I've put in it. Ice, frozen fruit, etc. The Auto IQ system is also a great feature. Taking some of the guess work out of the blending. For instance, making a smoothie just involves dropping in the ingredients and hitting the smoothie button (with Auto IQ turned on). It goes through it's various cycles and out comes a perfect smoothie. Another couple things I like are all the attachments and dishwasher safe, and the suction cups on the bottom are very good. It doesn't move at all while running. Pros: Powerful, dishwasher safe attachments, Auto IQ, easy to use Cons: It's loud, but it's a blender, so that's to be expected.

Very powerful motor. It handled everything from smoothies, extracting fruit juice and salads to making hummus and pancake batter. There are so many different options with this machine. I find the pulse function very useful for being able to control and not over do it. The suction mount on the bottom truly keeps the machine in place. Very nice looking chrome/black finish yet compact where is does not require a lot of counter space. It does make a lot of noise which I suppose is why it is full of power. Very easy to operate and has become an important tool in the kitchen.

Does a great job chopping veggies, ice and whatever else you like to add to your juice. It is noisy though, more so than my Nutri Bullet. However, I think the Ninja is more powerful and versatile

A bit noisy but a great smoothie maker. The blades cut through easily about any fruit you put in it. Easy to clean and wash.

I use this mainly for making shakes. Works excellent. Convenient cups, sharp blades, easy to clean. Minus a star for being loud..

Super impressed. Was like opening presents as a kid on Christmas. A little noisy but overall I'm extremely pleased with my ninja and all that if offers. Definitely recommend purchasing one!

For the price you get a great blender. A little oud, but its because it has a lot of power and the IQ mode works pretty well if you want to set and forget.

If noise is an issue than choose another. If the noise won't bother you than this might be the one that you want. It has suction cups on it's feet because it is a very powerful brute. It would bounce all over the place if it didn't have them. It makes a great smoothy as that is mainly why I bought mine. It cleans up very fast and it is just a downright good machine.

I purchased this so that I could have a slightly bigger cup for creating my breakfast smoothies. The AutoIQ is easy to work and I love the consistency of my smoothie. I didn't give it great because it loud as I read in other reviews but I would buy it again.

This Ninja machine does an excellent job - I use it so often for smoothies using frozen fruit. I end up with a smooth, non-chunky fruit smoothie! It is a VERY LOUD machine, tho! I warn those in the same room before I turn it on!

My smoothies are actually smooth. Easy to clean and well. Only negative would be that if it's very loud. I guess that's to be expected with 1100 watts. Other than that, product is working great for me so far.

Overall, it makes great smoothies. Blends everything perfectly. The only setback, it is extremely loud! Would have been 5 stars, but too loud, for early mornings.

I purchased this for my wife this past Christmas. She had seen these in the store and really loved how they had the mixer attachment you place on the cup and then just remove that after you mix, attach the cup lid, and you are ready to go. I've used it a few times as well for making milkshakes and smoothies. It is definitely nice to be able to make each member of the family something different and not have to clean out the mixer bowl after you mix each one, the only thing I don't like about it is that it is really noisy.

The Ninja works well and makes great smoothies! Only complaint we have is how loud it can be...other than that it works perfect and has proven to be durable.

Small, semi quiet, lots of extras and transports easily

I was happy to get great amoothies and juices. But I'm noticing it has started to make harsh grinding noises and will shut off before my drink is complete. It still makes great juice, i just have to hold it so the jar doesn't spin. Once it moves it shuts off.

loud, and the plastic numbs on cup wearing down, hard to clean inside base where cup locks in.
