I was skeptical of this blender but if you keep in mind, this is for quick smoothies or similar drinks on the go, it certainly does the job. If you like ice, either only use a couple of cubes or start off with crushed. It isn't strong enough to crush them up like a full blender. What I've done to get around that is to use frozen fruit while making sure my base is already cold and it was perfect. The battery charge was quick and only took about an hour to be full. I've used this now for about five days straight and I haven't noticed any decrease in power. The cover for the blades is a nice touch to make sure you don't accidentally cut yourself. Clean up is super easy as I just run the blades under some warm after and dab it dry. The cup is a decent size for the drink and of course, the lid helps when you are on the go. I'd recommend this for someone on the go, parents trying to give their kids a quick and convenient smoothie, or for college students in their dorms.

Great purchase. Would recommend it for anyone anytime anywhere.

Wanted this for on the go blending. After reading the directions it says not to use ice or frozen fruit. Seems pointless after that.

The NutriBullet - GO 13-Oz. Cordless Blender - Black is great to have for an on the go smoothie. Using inside the home is not worth while, because frozen fruits cannot be blended with the available power. I tried blending frozen strawberries and peaches, but they stayed frozen in the water. So, when traveling somewhere a quick smoothie is needed, soft fruit and vegetables can be used to quickly make a personal smoothie. The compact size is perfect for placing in a traveling bag or large pocket. Cleaning and charging the NutriBullet - GO 13-Oz. Cordless Blender - Black is extremely easy. I like being able to have a portable smoothie machine, for those times away from home, so I can still make me a healthy drink.

Only lasted a month and stopped working had to get a store credit to buy something else

I was looking forward to trying it. First, I exercise often and try to eat as healthy as possible. Smoothies for me are a big thing. Although I do use protein powder sometimes, my preference is real fresh food. When I travel or even at work, I miss a blender to make my smoothies. So this NutriBullet sounded like what I needed. Right in the beginning I was frustrated because it wouldn’t turn on. I decided to charge it for a whole night, but even so it wouldn’t work until I read the instructions – yes, read that first. It was the cup that was not correctly positioned. My fault and I was somewhat embarrassed. So I was glad when it actually turned on and my hopes got higher again. To be fair, I was not expecting great performance since a battery-bowered and small blender didn’t sound like it would do a great job but with battery technology getting better and better, I did have some hope. Voila! It worked well with protein power and very ripe bananas cut in very small pieces. But it performed poorly in most other attempts. Forget about using spinach, kale or any other green – unless it’s in powder form. Other fruits? I couldn’t find any that would provide a good result. It just doesn’t have enough power It is a very good idea in theory. It is right sized, simple to use but unless you want this only for shakes made with protein powder, or yogurt, it is not worth it in my opinion.

This little blender is a great size for the gym or the office, and it's super quiet as far as blenders go. Like a lot of cordless blenders, it's a little under powered. It's great for mixing protein shakes and blending soft fruits and berries, but anything with texture (fresh pineapple, for example) is a challenge. It's definitely better than a shaker cup and doesn't take up a lot of room in your office or your gym bag.

This cordless Nutribullet mini-blender clicked all the boxes for me. I love it. It is ideal to take to the beach because it is cordless and I can pop a couple ice cubes into the carafe, a banana, some juice and boom, I have a fresh made smoothie. If I want another one, just pull the fruit from my cooler and make another one, fresh and cold; cordless makes it easy. If you want to make a smoothie at home, you can blend it and use the included cap and just take the capped-carafe with you. I noticed some nice safety features. First when you screw the carafe onto the base, a blue light will blink 5 times to tell you the cap is on properly. Secondly, it will not start the blades unless the carafe is in place. Third you must push the start button twice to start the unit – a good feature to avoid an accidental start. Fourth it comes with a cover to screw on the base while charging to keep little (and big) fingers away from the metal blades. It is not super powerful so you still need a ‘main’ blender. But for a quick cordless process to make a nice smoothie it is a great option to have. I do highly recommend this solid little cordless blender.

Nutribullet travel is pretty awesome, I do wish it held at least 20oz verse the 13 oz. it is rechargeable which is nice no batteries to deal with, I put my frozen berries & bananas in it for my smoothie & protein drinks it worked great, i haven’t needed to recharge it yet & it hasn’t lost power it does not that it lasts about 20 blending cycles I think I’m just under that, it does come with a blade cover for travel so no cut finger over here when I throw it in my bag, oh yeah it comes with a standard screw off lid, I would’ve preferred a stay on lid with sip opening makes it easier to drink or insert a straw while traveling, walking driving etc. other then that I’ve been pretty happy with it

Review for NutriBullet - GO 13-Oz. Cordless Blender - Black I was pleasantly surprised by the design of of the NutriBullet Cordless Blender. It’s easy to pack in a bag or backpack for smoothies on the go. The included cap protects the blades and the the cup has to be tightened securely for it to function - so no leaks! Blending fruit, yogurt, and liquids is fast and automatic. I wasn’t as thrilled to find out I couldn’t use ice or frozen fruit in the blender, but for its size and price, it’s a great little gadget.

Not powerful enough for the 'big, thick smoothie' addicts who love to blend ice with nuts, nut butters, frozen fruits, hard ginger, dense carob or fruit concentrates. Manual list warnings clearly: No frozen foods No ice No hot liquids Not microwavable Though many don't like the recommendation, drinking liquids near room temperature is easier on the digestive process. For optimal performance and based on usage, the manual suggests replacing blades every 6 months. FAQs at website state PBA Free. In light of consumer concerns about plastic containers leaching chemicals into foods, BPA Free should be front and center on the packaging, in the manual, and at the website. On receipt, the base that holds the blade needs about 3 hours to fully charge via USB cord to your laptop or charge adapter. You get about a 30 second run time. Instructions warn not to run beyond 1-minute. Price may be reasonable for those who need to pack a small CORDLESS (after fully charged) device into a travel bag for convenience. With online registration, owner gets an additional 3-month warranty extension added to the original 1-year warranty, a good incentive that motivates consumers to share digital data.

Very small, the battery runs out very quickly and it does not grind well, there are quite a few pieces left. I don't recommend it.

The NutriBullet cordless blender is a blender that’s easy to take with you on the go. It’s not as heavy as my larger blender. With it’s smaller size it’s good enough for one person in one setting. I was able to blend up frozen fruit and milk as I was able to make a fruit milkshake. The blender was powerful enough to chop up the frozen fruit, despite being battery powered. Once I was done, I was able to place the top on blending bottle and was able to take it with me. Overall, good product.

This nutribullet cordless blender is perfect for on the go people! It's lightweight and of the same quality as other nutribullet products. I was able to blend 5 times without noticing any loss of power. I did find that even with extensive blending there was still a few balls of ice left unblended. I would also like the cup to be slightly larger, maybe a 16oz or even a 20 oz. The 13 oz wasn't big enough to fit the ingredients to my favorite smoothie recipe

I like simple and I like compact. I left this one over at my girlfriend's house because when I work out there she doesn't have a lot of kitchen space. Not that I need a lot of power to blend up my five ingredients but doesn't hurt to have it either. This blends up very nicely I can take the cup with me and wash it at my place and bring it back and use it at her place. Perfect for someone with a small kitchen and not a lot of countertop space.
