We bought this so we could make smoothies at home during the pandemic. It's adequate once you get the hang of it. But there is a learning curve. I tend to enjoy using it more for other things like mixing batters or sauces rather then making smoothies. Apparently you can chop things in it as well. You have to be careful because when you push down to pulse as it can easily switch over to blend/liquify. If I had it to do over again, I'd spend a little more money and get the newer model with the buttons.

I was looking for a powerful smoothie maker after my smoothie blender died and this is it. The base is MUCH heavier/substantial and well made than the Magic Bullet. It also looks more expensive/nice. This is the way to go

Comes with some great tasting and surprisingly healthy smoothie recipes. Great for preparing a lot of food for cooking as well!

It literally saved my life when I was having swallowing issues. I've used these since 2014 and replace it every couple of years. I recommend getting an extra set of blades. The cups last forever. I love the color of this one.
