Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the high performance and excellent graphics of the GeForce RTX 2070 Founders Edition, frequently citing smooth gameplay and impressive visuals at high resolutions. While some users note that the card can run warm under heavy load and has a higher price point than some competitors, many praise its quiet operation and ray tracing capabilities. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and visual quality outweighs concerns about temperature and cost for most users.

Needed to bring some life to my 4 year old PC build and this definitely did the trick. Upgraded my GTX 980 with this card and it was a noticeable difference in FPS on setting at Ultra setting. Plus has the added features of ray tracing etc. for future games to come.

Great card. Performance has been great especially coming from a GTX 970. Was placed in a new PC build with an i7 8700k and 16gb 3200MHz. While not an RTX 2080, the RTX 2070 still runs games on ultra settings without compromising frames.

This card is beautiful. The green LED that the logo has looks good inside the case. The performance is fabulous. I am maxing our all games with 2K and most games with 4K also without any frame rate issues.

I use my computer for many things, but my favorite is X-Plane flight simulator 11. This program is truly amazing, but it’s a memory, CPU and GPU hog if you want to run it full throttle and full features. I was using everything at low settings using my previous card which was a Radeon RX 480. I was going to do a full rebuild, motherboard, memory, CPU, GPU which was going to be super expensive. Like $1800. I decided to just upgrade the Video Card to GeForce RTX 2070, and Wow! This card rocks! With all the features at full setting, I’m getting 30-45 FPS which is amazing for X-Plane. I did not upgrade the rest of my computer. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Bought this card and it’s been nothing short of a work horse. Since my first PC build to my current one, I’ve had offerings from Radeon as well as Nvidia. Much like my previous experiences proved, Nvidia is still the best choice when it comes to dependability, support, and overall performance. Not to sound like a shill for their brand, but currently they are simply the best in that set of criteria. But with that and the lack of competition comes the not so great part. Pricing. Nvidia sets the standard high as well as their pricing and with what I stated above as far as competition they can get away with it. It sucks and I feel like if you’re just getting into the hobby that is PC gaming, you may be a little off out even on some of the lower end cards. What I will say is, yes it’s worth it for me. The card although it was a rather hefty price has exceeded my expectations and proved to be the most rock solid performer for me without question. One thing that proved to be annoying and the only problem I’ve ran into on more that one occasion is the GeForce Experience software. As of today, it’s running great. The initial experience however was continually frustrating to deal with as the software would basically brick itself and require a full rip of the drivers along with a reinstall. Ran into that in several occasions. And with GeForce Experience handing game optimization and driver updates it can really get annoying. I use it continuously now that it works but man did I want to just return my card at that point. Glad I didn’t. Other than that, the card looks great, it’s the classic Nvidia way of design but new. The cooler is above average, however not the best. I may go for an after party card rather than a founders edition next time. Regardless, I usually have it running on full usage at around 66c-68c which is very comfortable. I will mention though, that I’m sitting at 6 case fans and a custom fan curve to get that where it’s at. I have done minimal overclocking and the card handles it well. I have cut back on that due to the coil whine though which can be really annoying if you want a quiet PC. It’s a known issue with the RTX series of cards. Overall, it’s fairly quiet unless you’re running the fans at about 90 percent. Then obviously you’d expect some noise levels to increase. Did that only as a test. I’d say based on my experience with the card that Nvidia is probably the best choice right now unfortunately. The price tag is the main obstacle I feel like for most first time pc builders but I think it’s worth it in the long run.

My only regret with this card is that they did not have the higher end version of it in stock. It works better than my 1080ti and cost half what I paid for it in cinabench gpu test.

I had an ATI R9 380 card that on BF4 I could run auto/medium at 1280x720 settings but would still see some dropouts during a heavy action sequence. With this card at all settings on Ultra and at 1920x1080 it is running smoothly with no visible lag so far. Real test coming this week with BF5 coming out.

If you want something that’ll push 4K and maintain 60 FPS then this is the right you for the job, but the only problem is that it is pretty pricey.

I can play fallout 76 at 60fps. Wow. That's more about 76 than it is about the card. The card is awesome. Like 10/10. Worth 70,000 pennies.

While the card does have serious potential it is still quirky. More driver development and maybe a BIOS update is in order.

This card get the work done at 2560 x 1440 even at 3440 x 1440. I am able to play any game over 60 FPS. It is a great value for the money. You can play any game at high settings and it also enable RTX and DLSS in some games which make it awesome. I really recommend this product. I bought an 2080 TI FE but I sold it and buy this one due the great performance for the money.

I have to say when my gtx 1060 Died on me I was pretty bummed. But after I got the RTX 2070 I had no regrets. This GPU is amazing. Only downside is that they tend to get a little warm. But don't let that scare you these GPU's are rated to have a threshold of up to 83° C. The giant boost in fps is a definite plus as well.

NVidia has again created a masterpiece card that doesn’t break the bank and has enough performance bang for buck combo. I feel like the drivers are holding the card back for the moment. Frames per second in certain games are limited with max settings but that should be fixed soon. All in all, another great card from NVidia as always. Now if the pricing could just drop a little

$599 was good value for this card, which works very well, even for high-end CAD/CAE such as NX or CATIA. However, NVIDIA dropped the 2070 Super for $100 less but with low supplies to play games with the market as usual... 2070 at $450 would be an excellent deal, at $600 with the $500 Super version out there is more questionable...

It was a great upgrade for the few months I had it but like most technology not all of it can be perfect. I bought it july 21st and yesterday on September 27th it started freezing games in 5 minutes of play and getting what's called space invader artifacts across the whole screen on my 2 monitors they were connected to, the 3rd monitor connected to my integrated graphics and that monitor didnt have the issues therefore the NVIDIA RTX 2070 Founders Edition was a faulty graphics card within a span if 2 months. Contacted nvidia about the manufacture warranty and waiting on replacement status. Feelsbadman, make sure you always get the protection plan. Worked great though regardless of it being a faulty card, fps improved, shaders looked beautiful especially in Minecraft. Hoping to get my replacement soon.

I did have an issue with the product, where after a few days it stopped working but all I had to do was exchange the defective one for a new one. Now the one I have installed is working great and I'm able to do gaming at 4k beautifully.
