Customers enjoy the high performance and excellent graphics of the GeForce RTX 2070 Founders Edition, frequently citing smooth gameplay and impressive visuals at high resolutions. While some users note that the card can run warm under heavy load and has a higher price point than some competitors, many praise its quiet operation and ray tracing capabilities. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and visual quality outweighs concerns about temperature and cost for most users.

Good but has coil whine

So far the card has worked well, it's a definite improvement over my 1070...I'd say about 20-40 fps gain over the last Gen for most new games. But coil whine is definitely a problem. My first one was unbearably loud so I exchanged it, this one is slightly better. Tried 3 different PSUs (all 750-1000w 80+ Gold or better) and another mobo so it's definitely coming from the GPU. Its barely audible over my fans but definitely there...it's a great card otherwise.

An amazing card for those who waited to upgrade.

I upgraded from a 4gb Radeon GPU that was a few years old to the 2070 FE, haters are going to hate due to RTX not being available at launch. However, I'm a believer in future proofing and RTX titles will eventually come out. I went with the FE card over anything else because it's overclocked out of the box.
If you're upgrading from a 1070 or below I believe you will appreciate this card and it's abilities. so long as you have a CPU that's not going to become a bottleneck (i'm running an i7 7700K at 4.8Ghz with no problem)
The fans are quiet even under load, it can handle high end titles at high frame rates with ease. Best of all it looks amazing with it's new look.

I got it home, popped it in, set it up, played BFA for about 45 minutes, then... POOF! Blank screen. The next day, I powered up, surfed, looked at/researched/Googled some stuff, printed some stuff, looked at some photos, videos, then I was satisfied so I logged on to BFA, and again... POOF! Blank screen! I should've really payed attention to some of the reviews, but, silly me, I thought I was special and would have NO problems with this card!! Oh, well... at least I got a few "minutes" with it. Back to the store it goes! I'll get my $638.00 back, and spend it on another card.

Artifacting

Love this GPU at first, it was awesome then it kept artifacting and black screening after not even 30 days of owning it. At first thought it was my new rig, so i switched back to my asus 1060 6GB and everything was working fine again. Apparently many people are having problems with it read before you buy it’ll save you the headache. Will be switching over to MSI 2070
