Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 graphics card's performance, price, and cooling capabilities, with many praising its ability to deliver high frame rates at 1440p resolution. They also appreciate the card's compact size and quiet operation. However, some customers express reservations about the 12-pin power connector and the lack of RGB lighting. The sleek design is another frequently mentioned positive aspect.

Great value - under 1440p gaming conditions only but still worth it.

I had to wait quite a long time to get one, but I'm very happy with the performance. Boosted my overall 3D Mark score from 7K to 12K, and even on 21:9 1080p monitor, the improvement was evident -- not so much frames as lighting and effects. I waited to play Cyberpunk 2077 until I got the new card, and I am duly impressed with all the neon and shadows. I'm running this on a 7700K so my CPU/mobo is likely a bottleneck, but I'll be taking this card with me to the next rig. Just happy to get more life out of this one, and these cards coming back in stock has made that possible.

Best Card ever/Extra FPS with Upscaling

This card is amazing, I had the 2000 series but it was impossible to run any game with ray tracing even Minecraft XD. However the 3000 series is great specially with upscaling which should give you an extra 20 FPS or more on any game that uses ray tracing. Guys spending $499 on this card is worth it trust me

**THIS REVIEW IS NOT RATED BASED ON AVAILABILITY** This GPU is fantastic. I built a desktop PC in anticipation for the new RTX 30 series cards. Specs: NZXT H210, i 10700K (overclocked), 32GB RAM, 2 x M.2 SSDs. Modern Warfare is at a constant limit of 144fps 1080p. Phasmaphobia is 240fps - 290fps 1080p. Heroes of the Storm is easily over 240fps 1080p. My system is completely air cooled with be quiet high speed pwm fans and Dark Rock slim pro. I recommend downloading EVGA Precision X1 and adjusting fan curves for case fans. If I don't adjust case fans my GPU stays around 70 - 73 Celsius. Adjusting my case fans when running at 60% speed my GPU will RARELY hit 62 Celcius in a room around 75 degrees. If you have a 1080p monitor you'll be extremely happy and run everything at max detail and max fps for your monitor unless you have the crazy 240hz or 360hz. Haven't used it for 1440p yet. This is a great buy, unless you have a 2080 ti you will go home completely happy and pleased with this item. This works well with ITX cases as long as you adjust case fan curve.

I don't know how I was Lucky enough to Buy one on Release but so Far the 3070 does everything I need and more. My Last Graphics Card was a 770 so I definitely needed an Upgrade on my new'ish build, and got lucky on release. I love the no RBGs, basic Black and Dark Platinum.

At the MSRP price tag, this thing is incredible. Smooth frame rates at 1440p on eveything ive played so far. Also, I'm huge on aesthetics and the way it looks in my PC. I love the coloring and design

Good card for 1080p, 144Hz at ultra detail everything. Haven't tested it yet at 1440p or 4k. I think those 8gigs of vrams are okay for now but won't be enough for future games. I am using this in a small ITX case and despite the fact that pulls 215W it stays under 72C.

I like the fact that this card is double the performance in many ways than the GTX 1070ti it replaced. The main concern I have with this card is the power connector. They had room to put a standard 8 pin connector but went with this proprietary connector...and the pins are horribly small. I contacted Nvidia tech support and they shrugged it off. Only 6 pins of the 12 pin header are even used on a 3070fe. I would feel better about this if all pins were used to lower chance of connector burning out. Good luck finding one and hope it last!

Very good graphics card, It works super well with my Ryzen 7 3700x, I'm putting this at 5 stars becsause I have no complaints at all really (except theres no RGB) but thats not the point. I was lucky enough to get one when it went in stock a month ago, and it runs pretty well on my Sceptre 165hz monitor. I bet it would be even better on a 240/280 hz monitor, but I'm kinda poor right now so I cant get that yet. Overall, really good graphics card, runs things really smooth, and I'm happy with what I got

It took a month of tracking, but I eventually was able to secure this for MSRP. It is a great little card that sips power compared to my old r5700. The stock cooler is more than enough to keep this card at 60c or lower with custom fan profiles. I highly recommend the FE of the 3070 as it just isn't a card that needs a beefy HS and has limited overclocking capability even if heavily cooled. Not a knock on the card but the RTX aspect outside of a few titles (Quake2/Minecraft) is very much a gimmick still with limited support and a massive performance hit in most games. DLSS 2.0 and the streaming features are amazing, but RTX still feels like it is in its early stages, and this card doesn't have the power to push most RTX features at 1440p 60fps.

Great card for the money. Plays all my games with more than enough FPS and run Iracing on my triple monitor setup with ease. If you can find this card buy it. $499 with the performance of the 2080Ti

Runs cool and quiet @ around 60C on stock fan curve. Plays any game I throw at it on high to ultra. This is the one RTX that is good to go out of the box without needing thermal pads.

Was looking for a stable gaming gpu. All good so far, I only have had one TDR system crash since running the card. Way better than before. One thing to note about NVidia gpu's is the flickering light source bug in games (destiny 2). It is a driver issue, but you cant use the gpu without the driver, so I will mention it.
