I'm writing this review on 04/16/2025, but I purchased this bad boy exactly two years ago. At the time it felt excessive because I was already rocking the ASUS TUF RTX 3080, but I concerned with the limited VRAM (10 GB). Today I have to say it was one of the best purchases I've made! Even with the release of the 50 series, it's still a top card, and I don't foresee myself upgrading for a good while.

Got this card with an alphacool waterblock. I barely hit 55C in the bay area when gaming. Max settings in most games. Can't complain. You'll be good for a couple of years. Even got a 90 degree 12VHPWR from ModMyMods. Makes it look nice and clean in my rig.

What can I can say? The 4090 is the best GPU on the market. In particular, the Founders Edition looks beautiful while running cool. I appreciate the mature looks of this GPU compared the more gamer-oriented options with RGB lights everywhere.

This card is a monster. It was between this 4090, the strix and the zotac aire trio. This was the first one to come in stock at msrp. Runs amazing in my 7950x3d build. Low temps, never maxed out. Awesome card

I mean... what more can I say? It's a 4090 FE! What surprised me the most is how cool the card runs. I have it paired with my Ryzen 9 5900x so it runs any game I throw at it on max settings. A little pricey, but definitely worth it!

Upgraded my GPU from 3060TI and great numbers and temperatures. No coil whine like other people have had with other GPU’s. Like the black accent to ny black set up.

Works very well. Noticeable upgrade from 3080. Gets more FPS on warzone. Got around 100 fps at 4k with dlss at like 60% utilization. With this card 150 fps no dlss and was at like 15% utilization

True high refresh rate 4K gaming is here. Obviously this will depend on the titles you are playing but for most titles this will net you 120ish+hz at 4K. With a lot of posts being shown of burning adapters I highly urge anyone who does decide to go with this beast gets a higher quality cable from a PSU supplier or a source like CableMod. My cable is from CableMod and has been seen so far to be much more reliable (looks way better too). For an FE card have a minimum of 850w PSU or 1000w if you plan to OC wherever possible. The new MW2 currently runs anywhere from 120-150hz at native 4K resolution but paired with DLSS will boost up to 140-170hz. This is what I have been waiting for. We live in a time where 1440p gaming is very obtainable and for many that will definitely remain the sweet spot. But if you have the money, know that 4K is here.

Great GPU, best value of them all hands down. Probably one of the hardest card for someone to get their hands on right now. Tremendous uplift from a 3090

Upgraded from an EVGA 3090 Kingpin and am certainly glad I did. I play a lot of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, and the RTX 4090 is a game changer. I now get much more fluid FPS that's usually between 60-80 even in major citys for the 99% avg at 4k, and with DLSS 3 and frame interpolation you can definitely peg 120 FPS in a good number of places. And this is at higher gfx quality settings too. Long story short; If you demand the best for your 4k or VR experience, and/or rendering and compute tasks, you will not be disappointed, even coming from the 3090 Ti. Do or do not, there is no try.

Truly an awesome card that fits perfectly in a 10L case. Gaming thermal is around or below 70c and definitely quiet.

The 4090 is the best right now. If you can afford it do it. Cyberpunk and RDR2 get 100 fps with max sertings in 4k. Just incredible

The RTX 4090 Founders gives you excellent performance for most importantly the size it presents. Compact, cool, classy, and fast. That's all you need to know!

I love my 4090 founders edition . I haven’t had any problems with it at all. It performs flawlessly. The main reason I upgraded from my 3090 is because of all the new technology available in graphics. Without this card, you cannot take advantage of everything that’s available to you today. I still use my 3090 and another build , but I would never give up my 4090. It’s a must have.

This card is amazing. I bought the RTX 4080 & 4090 to see which one I wanted. I ended up sticking with the RTX 4090 because of the INSANE performance. If you’re playing to buy either the 4080 or 4090. Get the 4090. It’s only $400 off from getting a powerful killer gpu. You will NOT be disappointed. You can throw ANY game at this 4090 in 4k & you’ll get 100+ FPS.

The card looks incredible and performs even better. I must’ve hit the silicone lottery with the gpu chip because it’s results are above average in benchmarks. This is the true 4K card. Without ray tracing it maxes out my monitors 144hz / 144 fps limit, set in Nvidia control panel, with games such as Modern Warfare 2 (110 - 144, max graphics) and Fortnite (130 - 144). With ray tracing I’m consistently at that 100 range, give or take, more with DLSS enabled. Overall I’m impressed and happy with this gpu

This GPU is probably going to be with me for a very long time. This is the first GPU I’ve purchased above the xx80 Ti line and it just absolutely cannot be pressed by much of anything outside of SOME modern games at native 4K with max settings. This thing is fantastic for hitting ridiculous frame rates for monitors that have 240hz panels and it’s just as fantastic for hitting the HIGHEST possible quality of detail at the highest settings across the board while regularly breaching 60 fps. Of course it’s a pretty penny and you have to be able to find one too. But if you can and you haven’t upgraded since the 10-series, I would suggest this card as the (so far) only viable option in the 40-series. If you’re trying to keep costs under this price mark, I highly suggest checking out AMD’s new line before you look at other 40-series cards.

Really wish this came with an L-bracket. I’m unable to close my case, but otherwise looks great! Can run any/all games and it’s super quiet. Yes, it can play Crisis. Been playing Baldur’s Gate 3 at super max settings; no issues so far. My monitor setup isn’t great though but overall I’m very happy with my purchase. If you’re on the fence, and it’s available for purchase - get it!

great GPU, runs 4k with ray tracing on ultra settings. only gripe is about the price, but awesome product.
