I bought this for my child. She seems pretty happy with it. I've only used it a little but it seems to perform very well and is now updated to Android 6. Seems to be a really nice device for the price.

The power and speed of this tablet is awesome! The low amount of memory is an easy sacrifice when you consider what you truly get for such a low price. After purchasing an SD card I still saved several hundred dollars in comparison to what other brands offer.

One of the best gaming tablet's out there! For $199 it cant be beat!

have had it for less then a month everything seems well constructed...the power on button may be slight problem...a big plus is it has already received a software update to android marshmallow 6...

I am a longtime Apple user.I bought this to try out android.I love this tablet! It is fast,gaming is great! I have been using this more then my iPhone when I can.The battery life could be better,but it is OK.I would buy a tablet by Nvidea again.Great deal for $200

Although this tablet is marketed as a "gaming" tablet, it is a very fast and well done Android tablet that you can use for running apps other than just games. I replaced an old 2012 Nexus 7 with this tablet and couldn't be happier with the performance and features. I especially like that Nvidia put a basic Android 5.0 (Lollipop) implementation on the tablet without a lot of "crapware" that others include. A warning to buyers though, Nvidia has release a version of Android 6 (Marshmallow) for the tablet (that's the good news) but a lot of people have complained about excessive battery drain and other issues with the upgrade. I have not upgraded and have no problems with Android 5.0. Hopefully, Nvidia, will solve the issues and issue an update to the Android 6.0 release

I got this tablet for my little brother due to him playing games on his phone which I wanted to get him something bigger and something that was more dedicated to gaming. I am impressed with this tablet its fast and powerful. Also the pleacment of the speakers are awesome which when your watching movies or games you dont want to muzzel. Which you have two on each end and 2 front faceing speakers. This makes for a great sounding experience.The screen is great and in HD. Also you have the option of contecting it to the TV and playing it there as well. I also Recommend purhasing the Controller which will be nessesery for the games in the Invidia App Store I found myself needing the gamepad more often then I wanted so yes Controller is a MUST. Along side with the google play store the controller makes for a complete gaming expririence.

This tablet is wonderful. It's got a great screen and wonderful sound. It's performance with games and multimedia is outstanding for the pricepoint. It comes with the ability to use a USB Y-Cable out of the box, no hacking required, so it can easily be docked and used with other USB devices. (External sound cards, storage, mice, keyboards, MIDI equipment, etc.) It supports QuickCharge as well so it charges very fast when plugged into a compatible charger.

This is my first experience with Android, but it seems to be pretty intuitive. The tablet is a good size - easy to hold without having a microscopic screen. Cases are harder to find than they would be for an iPad, but they are available. Be aware that this version does not have a built-in slot for your stylus.

This is currently my personal favorite Android tablet. It doesn't come with all the unnecessary bloatware that you find on other Android tablets. It also has compatibility with multiple Nvidia cards and can connect to your pc if you have one. You can stream anywhere (as long as your pc is on) and the stream is pretty accurate and, for the most part, smooth (it does depend on the internet connection). Nvidia also has a (optional) monthly game streaming service that offers various games that you can stream to your tablet from Nvidia's servers. The other notable feature is that you can connect to your HDMI tv as it has a mini HDMI port and is able to output up to 4K from the tablet.

I had a nexus 7 and this was to replace it. It is a good tablet. Sound is great, its fast, love the screensize battery life is excellent and works with most android applications. The things that I don't like is, wifi is suspect sometimes as it says it's connected but it really isn't and it reboots randomly for no apparent reason. These nuisances are just that and I can live with it. I think these kinks will probably be worked out in future updates so I will not return it.

Love my nvidia tablet. I am a die hard gamer and have not seen any lag whatsoever. Doom, Dead Trigger 2, Sniper Fury, Unkilled etc. I am writing this review from the tablet. Highly recommended.

I do not understand the negative reviews at all. I have had this tablet about a week and it performs really well. I had ordered one through Amazon that was defective but the one I bought from Amazon is perfect. So I have been researching tablets for a while and cost vs. performance was my main concern. I am not a gamer but I hate poor quality screens and slow processors. Looked at several Samsung, Lenovo, Asus, Hp, Acer tablets and for $200 or less you are dealing with some compromise. Low ram, slow processor, low on board storage, old version of Android, pour build quality, low resolution screen, or some combination of the above is the norm at this price range. I was going to settle then I found this tablet. While the processor is old and there are better high end tablets but they cost at least $100 or more than the K1. With the quad core 2.2 ghz processor and 2 gigs of ram this is a fast tablet. Almost 300 ppi 8 inch screen and decent build quality this is a great tablet. Add the front facing speakers and Nvidia just updating the tablet to Marshmallow 6.0 which allows you to use an SD card just like internal storage. All of this for $199. I dare anyone to find a better tablet for the price. If you game then there is a ton of content made just for you. The only caveat is the fact they don't include a charger or cord. Other than that awesome tablet. Don't be fooled by the other negative reviews. Also quality control can vary so if you have problems exchange it.

Read the reviews and decided to replace my standard Samsung tablet and it was the right choice for me. Quick, great sound, no delays or problems. I would recommend to others.

Excellent performance and normal use tablet. I still receive updates for it all the time. So far can't complain at all. Good buy.

Bought these for my daughters as they were too old for a kid specific tablet. They love them. Very fast processor and the graphics are amazing. The front speakers are loud and sound very good. Only cons is the limited availability of aftermarket accessories such as cases and covers, especially those that offer full protection similar to Otterboxes and the power, and volume buttons could feel better. But they weren't a deal breaker for me.

Was a great tablet, just too much lag streaming through the hdmi to tv. Ended up dying all the time in the game my son and I would play.

It amazes me just how much I can do with it! My favorite thing is the speed as its great with my games!

The K1 is a great tablet, for the front-facing speakers, 'pure' Android experience (Nvidia adds things, but otherwise seems to leave Android alone), and timely Android updates/support from Nvidia. The only downside is the battery life, when you're using the tablet, but even when you're not using it, the battery dies faster than you'd expect, like the tablet isn't really sleeping.

i usually don't play games, i use it to cast all tv shows to my tv and it works great. Nice product, speakers are awesome.
