Works great, just as I expected. Used Roku and Apple TV before this and this is far and above superior in every way.

This is the second shield I bought . The first one was so good I had to buy another one for living room! I also added an external drive for more space. This device blows away the other streaming device. I wished I learned about this device before buying roku, and firestick!

This thing is one of the best if not the best android TV devices. It's much smoother than most other android TV devices and I like it much more than the fire TVs. It's also much more than that if you like to game, whether it's streaming games via geforce now or streaming your own PC games.

Super fast and not any issues. I use it instead of my smart tv for netflix and Hulu. Way faster and better.

Nvidia Shield is one of the best streaming devices i have owned and now i won't be looking at anything else. I have owned a Google Nexus Player, Fire TV and MI2 box but nvidia shield beats them all. This powerful streaming device is very easy to setup and the performance has been incredible.

FAST performance. Great for gaming. Near instant response, minimal load times for apps, content. Love the usb ports for connecting drives. Easy to connect my blue tooth headphones to the Shield. LOVE IT. I would buy it again and again.

Actually bought this for my wife because I have one , and I don’t share . Just kidding ! One in the bedroom and one in the living room.

Absolutely love this product. Great value and speed make this a must have for any game and/or streamer. With the price. Only downside would be the remote control interface is not very intuitive. But otherwise extremely satisfied!

Not all Android TV televisions are the same. When you need something that can output native Android TV applications and stream content in 4K and UHD with HDR, this is what you purchase. The price is more than reasonable and the ease of use is top-notch.

After extensive research, purchased the SHIELD over other offerings. Loved the Gigabit Ethernet and hdr support, as well as Google integration (meshes with other smart home items). Works like a charm with my Plex media server. Gigabit Ethernet means I can stream uncompressed UHD Blu Ray in 4k HDR without issue. Google play store gives acces to plenty of apps to get content from whatever source you desire. Only complaint is the remote is a bit difficult. It's super minimalistic. Navigation is ok but volume is a capacitive slider that is difficult to adjust small amounts. Once you get a feel for it it works ok, but still can be tricky from time to time.

This android box is simply amazing runs smoother then any other out there, And ive tried different ones. U can easily use a xbox controller for the free games they offer. Netflix and other movie streaming apps run smooth with no problem

Nice, well thought out player. Easy to set up and use. Took awhile to figure out battery / remote situation. No manual to work with. Like the look and looking forward to expanding the server and voice control of home products etc.

Had some time to play with SHIELD and wanted to share my thoughts. I've tried a lot of the other streamers and i feel SHIELD is my favorite device. I have an Android phone, so i love that it has Google Assistant integration. It's great to have integration with my google photos - you can press search and ask SHIELD to "Show me my pictures from xyz". Also nice that you can see what's on your google calendar and cast directly from your android phone to your TV. 4K HDR catalog is great because SHIELD has Netflix, Amazon Video and Vudu in HDR. Youtube experience is better than other streamers - you have full search integration, but you can even say show me the latest Tonight Show or ask to play any Music Video and it just direct plays into the Youtube Video. It also seems youtube on SHIELD supports 360 so you can use your remote to see shows in 360 on SHIELD. i know neither of this works on my Roku or Fire TV. I also use Plex and it seems SHIELD is the only streamer that supports Plex as a client and server device. Finally, it is nice that SHIELD has also integrated Samsung Smartthings Hub. I am just started to set up a smart home in my home and it is nice that i can turn on/off my lights via my SHIELD, and set routines through Samsung Integration. I know it is a bit more expensive than other streamers, but i use my streamer more than 10 hours a week so i think it is worth the extra money.

Bought this for Black Friday and thinking of buying another. This Shield is super fast, plays available 4K media, and is very user friendly. Unlike my current Apple TV, I was satisfied to find my favorite apps available!

I bought 4 of these for all my TVs, it never lags, Android assistant works great for controlling my smart home. Great for playing games and running NES, SNES, Genesis, PlayStation, Dreamcast emulators and Roms.

This box is a must for any home with a TV! If you have a 4K tv, then this box is a must since you can run 4K resolution on it natively! Also check out Kodi.

I have an Amazon fire stick and it's so slow compared to this, plus it plays all my nas 4k movies no problem worth every penny. Bonus is I have an Oppo-203 that I run this into and the picture and sound are great!

This is a great streaming device. It is worth the money.

Fast and capable streaming box. Would not recommend game service if you already have game console. So no need for game controller. Suggest getting 64GB flash drive for additional apps space. Unless you want to spring for internal 500GB HD. Prefer this unit over other devices.( i.e. Roku, firestick, etc.). More similar to PC connected to tv.
