This is the fastest streaming device that i have ever used. It also plays 4k/HDR and dolby atmos. It is a little pricey, but i recommend this to anyone needing a streaming box.

The Nvidia shield is the best android tv box available. The unit was easy to set up and load apps onto. They have updated the box several times and appear to give good customer support.

It's fast, smaller than it's predecessor, and you're no longer forced to buy a game controller. If you stream TV, it's the most reliable device I've owned thus far...

This is my second Nvidia Shield. We have one hooked up to each of our TVs. The new user interface after the Android update took a bit to figure out how to customize it, but I now love the customization you can do. It's very simple to stream content from YouTube, a streaming TV service, or music service. You can even run VPN apps on it. I've not set it up as a Plex server, but have used the VLC app to play contented stored on network storage. I would recommend this to anyone looking to "cut the cord."

Nvidia makes a nice quick Android box. Great for Plex, streaming videos, music, Netflix,etc.. The only issue is the cost. If you want the best, you have to pay for it.

it blows away roku, amazon and apple tv when it comes to pure power and performance and speed, since it has the most powerful hardware out of all the streaming services.

Purchased my first Shield TV Device over a year ago, I bought this second device for another TV in my house. I've tried many different brands of Streaming Media Devices over the past 5+ years (Apple TV, Roku, and multiple different Android TV Streaming Media Devices), and none come close to the capabilities of the Nvidia Shield TV. Perfect device for people looking to "Cut the Cord", and getting rid of monthly Cable bill. User friendly, automatic updates (when available), super fast streaming media & also gaming (with gaming controller). Can't say enough. Worth every penny!

This little box is perfect for streaming and lite gaming. After you customize it for the entertainment you enjoy it works like a charm. Love it and have told friend about it.

Did what I needed and more ! Extremely happy with it and would and do recommend to all my friends . Really easy to use and small so it's easier to tuck away .

This is very nice Android Box for TV, really we can get multiple android apps on this device, is expensive but is very fast and ease to use

I should have purchased this instead of a Googlecast & Fire Stick. Out of box experience is terrific. It doesn't come with an HDMI cable, so make sure you purchase one to avoid another trip or order. As a STB with Chromecast, Netflix, & Prime Video installed, it eliminates the need to have multiple TV sticks. The ethernet connection means seeing almost no buffering. The included remote is a bit weird, but works well. Android TV's app store is not the full Google Play store, so some apps might not be available.. Overall, to retrofit older televisions that aren't Smart TV - I would buy it again

Absolutely THE best android tv box on the market. I've tried many and being cheap didn't pay off. I paid almost the same price for sound of the better ones and they still aren't as quick as the shield. Only regret is not buying the pro version when it was avail. But that's easily fixed with adding on a dedicated 500gb SSD that I also purchased along with this for the added memory. Do not hesitate to get this. They go on sale often enough as well. I have both the devices with and without the added gaming controller. Currently looking to buy a third one.

This works great I am happy overall with how Google TV works. I do enjoy the fact that I can play games from off of Steam on this and make it a bit easier to have an "on the couch" gamers experience without the console. The system is overall fast and works as expected

Got this as a gift for my mother for christmas and put a ciupke builds on it to stream media its super fast and supports 4k as well ! Great buy

The Shield TV is a wonderful, easy to setup media player. It is able to stream 4k content with no issues. It also will play 4k mkv with no issues as well.

I Love it. It's very fast and works perfectly. The Shield is worth every penny. This is hands-down the best tv streaming device out there.

4k content is nice; everything looks crisp and clean. Remote isn't that great; I switched it out to a different remote.

The shield was release two years ago and still the best streaming device on the market. Easy setup, gaming is cool, streaming is awesome.

I bought this to run plex off my nas server. It is fast and runs 4k with no problems. Hoping for a dolby vision update. The HDR is great.

Bought this my elderly family members so they can start Streaming TV. The product is a little over kill (compared to other Media Device), but support every streaming service/app and provides the best quality play back. Very fast response when pushing button and switching between apps. (better than other Media Device) The voice to search works perfectly. Cons - The control pad on top... little sensitive for them and pushing the gives them problems. When i'm using it, no problems at all!
