Love the quickness and easy to use also love the slick look of the shield

I have been using the fire tv for years and have been getting frustrated at how slow it has been getting. It seems to have gotten slow after some of the latest updates. I got a Shield on sale to test it out and now am replacing the Fire TV in every room. The Shield is a great product. It has been around for years and still can be considered top of the line for streaming TV.

Excellent for streaming and gaming, you can add your Prime app for movies.

I have this paired up with a SONY Bravia Android TV, but the Nvidia Shield's experience wins hands down. Unlike the OS on the TV, the animations are totally smooth and feedback is snappy. The performance of this little device is great, and I can stream all my favorite videos and YouTube without any problem.

I was extremely hesitant to drop this kind of money on an Android box. But over time I’ve spent enough money on boxes to justify the buy. I should’ve done it much sooner! So far this device has functioned flawlessly. Go for it!! You will not regret it. However YOU MUST have ample internet speed (150mb) or faster for effective operations is what I suggest.

The Nvidia Shield is second to none! HDR + 4k + Speed! Awesome!

I own an Apple TV, fire tv and Roku. And let me tell you, from performance perspective, shield tv will blow these guys out of water. The speed at which it can switch apps and skip forward/backward in apps like Netflix/vudu is amazing. Also u can sideload any android app into shield tv!

I have used other streaming devices from the fire stick up to different android boxes, kept hearing rave reviews about the Shield and figured I would try it. All I can say is waiting does not pay, It is the benchmark that all other devices strive to emulate, no lagging no buffering 4K pictures can run many apps and different platforms, What’s not to love,

Purchased this in hopes of working with all my apps. Since I am invested in the apple ecosystem, this didn’t suit my needs. Anybody else who uses android may find it to be a perfect item. Unfortunately I had to return it. It worked great for the most part and very powerful but I use the Apple TV for all my apps. Not a bad item. just wasn’t for me

Best streamer on the market! It can do it all if your into it but too much for average users. I use it as a streamer for Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Plex, Kodi Gforce Now, Steam and more. I like it so much I bought my brother and father the same one. One downside is the controller is not as rugged as as a console's and if had to warranty it twice.

Great speed, looks great on 4k TV, nothing out that's better

Excellent speed and the android tv interface is fast. A bit on the pricier side, but nothing out there compares to it's speed.

This item is the new must have item. Once set up it works amazingly. The remote control takes a bit of getting used to but after that simple operations give great pleasure.

Great for streaming everything I want and it plays games too

Counting several smart TVs this is the better way to go. You can use it to stream all your movie streaming services plus download games of any type once you link your Android account to this streaming box. If you never heard of shield TV then you must have been living under a rock this is a must purchase

This is one of those things you didnt know you needed until u have it....I've completely stopped watching my cable and watch off of this thing exclusively. I've tried other boxes and sticks before but I eventually go back to my cable but not with this. If your on the fence, bite the bullet and buy one and you'll be glad you did!

Love the Nvidia Shield! Perfect for streaming and gaming!!!

I originally got it for the Nvidia streaming service, which essentially lets you play games that would otherwise need a >$1000 dollar computer to run well (with sufficiently fast internet), but it is also the best streaming player I currently own, having a Roku, Fire Stick and Chromecast. Very snappy control compared to all of those devices.

If you are thinking about or have cut the cord, this is an excellent choice for a streaming device. Works great with our YouTube TV, we have no regrets. Comparable to our Sony smart TV which is also an Android TV. It can be pricey compared to some of the other Android TV boxes, but with the performance; it's worth it.
