I love my Shield. It's very fast, sleek looking and small. The remote is not vety user friendly. I bought a different one which works great with the Shield. My Shield also works with Amazon Alexa which increases ease of use.

I've had most of the other streaming devices, Amazon Fire TV, Amazon Fire stick 4K, Roku 4K etc. This is much faster, and instantly change the channels on any of the streaming services. Running Kodi is almost flawless I no longer get the buffering errors. I'm not able to make much use of the smart hub for right now but if there's anything to it I'll figure it out. It cost a lot more then the other streamers, but it's the real deal if you want great performance. I'm not crazy about the remote especially controlling the sound is a bit annoying. You can pick up the remote and accidentally mess with the volume, which is the only real issue I have with this product. However it's not a deal-breaker. I haven't tried using the Google assist but if it's anything like they say it'll be a plus. So far so good if anything goes out of the way good or bad I'll give an update.

This is one of the best streaming, gaming bundles out there...I would have opted for the controller instead of the Smartthings adapter, but still did the job nicely. The shield controller is one of the best as well!

I bought the Nvidia Shield to cut my cable. I have to say this thing is awesome!! I own the Firestick and a Roku and this blows them out of the water. It's fast!! It does everything I want it to do and it does them way faster then any other product I use. I'm looking to get 2 more for my other TVs. It's not cheap but, like they say, you get what you pay for!! Buy one, you won't regret it!!

Better than a fire stick because you can plug directly into your router for faster streaming/ less buffering. It's a little pricey, but worth it.

Awesome product, only catch is that if you are new to setting this thing up like I was, it is a little time consuming but it's definitely worth it!! Best streaming product I have, can't wait to purchase another one!!

Very fast processor. easy to install. i haven't even scratched the surface of the extent of its power yet i already love the product. Good additional device to act as my smart hub.

Used for Ip streaming. Pretty fast 8 core box. Casting from phone is simple. Only negative is the remote.

I originally purchased this for our Dedicated Movie Room for the Atmos Pass through and its worked out perfect, easy to set up, no lag going from app to app. I cant comment on the Google Assistant as I already have Alexa for the house.

Bought the shield to replace my ebay android box for iptv. Works great and I highly recommend it.

We got this to replace rising costs of cable. We like it and it’s easy to use. It’s better than Roku , the lips didn’t match what was being said on Roku.
