This controller is a good one, it fits comfortably in the hand and has no lag to the shield tablet. It is required for some of the included games on the shield such as half life or portal. The only issues so far have been with games that are listed as compatible. Most of them are but some require work from the developers to make them usable with the controller. Still overall I find the controller to be an excellent value for the money. I would recommend getting the controller cover as well if you plan on traveling with this controller.

I don't use this as much as I do the remote, as I haven't played a lot of games on my shield, rather it is used more for a cord cutter functionality. That said, I did play a few games via Steam PC streaming, just to test responsiveness of games and quality of game play. The controller, although visually bulkier than an XBOX controller, doesn't seem to transition this bulkiness into actual use. It feels good in your hands, is responsive, and comfortable. I only played a fighter game for about 30 minutes, and a 1st Person shooter for about 45 minutes, so can vouch for long sessions, but it works well and is comfortable for what I did use. The Mic feature is nice, and overall the navigation of the shield with the controller is very easy and fluid. Definitely would recommend if you plan to play any games, 2 if you want to play with two players.

This a great piece or hardware. Very comfortable to handle and response is great. However, the first one I received has something broken inside and one of the triggers didn't work. Also, it's very fragile; dropped from the couch to the ground and one of the analog pads stopped working.

Great controller, works as it should... if you have small hands you might not like it since its a bit bulky with all the tech stuffed in there along with the battery. Recommended for the full experience from your Shield Tablet.

It takes a little getting used to, but this controller allows me to enjoy some action games streamed from GeForce NOW. If you can spare the cost, get one. If you're going to use your Shield Tablet in Console Mode, get a couple controllers and invite your friends over to play. I will point out, this is NOT a bluetooth controller. It is a Wi-Fi Direct controller. That is why it has fast response times. It does not clash with your other bluetooth devices.

This Works as expected and is very light. Sometimes it does disconnects mostly when the battery is low. Plays pc games very well. Overall very nice to use on the nvidia shield tablet but wish the cost was a little lower.

This was fairly easy to set up with my Shield Portable. It works really well and the quality of the controller is great. You can even use voice control to interact with the android OS without an external mic. I kinda wish I could use it with my PC too!

I bought this for my shield tablet. It gets the job done, feels great and there's no lag. I wish it would've been a bit less pricey or had capability to be used on more platforms out of the box though.

I had many reasons for getting the Shield TV. One of the key reasons was the quality of their controllers. I wanted a system that played well with PC's and had the Android ecosystem. I played with a Raspberry Pi 3 (RetroPie). One of my concerns with the Pi 3 was the controller situation. It was just okay in my opinion. I gave this controller 5 stars because I feel it is overall an excellent value and of good quality. I ended up with 4 of these controllers to ensure easy 4 player support. I had an Xbox360 controller for a while but I ran into odd issues with the Shield TV's multicontroller Game Stream function. Otherwise, using an Xbox360 controller as controller #4 was fine. The Shield Wireless controller has all the buttons and function you'd expect. The only thing I'd like to see a bit different are the touch buttons. They are too easily triggered mid-game when multiple people are all in a crazed match of Ultimate Chicken Horse.

High quality controller. Easy to use. Just what you'd expect.

Good feel. Like a xbox360 controller. Works great Emulators. Automaticly recognizes it. Handy when using HDMi to the TV to browse using shield tablet. Convenient headphone jack. Works great!

For being a controller designed for the Shield products, I can say I am very satisfied. People complain about the B button being to close to the edge but I have had no problems. The overall concept for this controller is worth the buy. No regrets. That's why they have exchanges.

While i do love the functions of this controller, i do feel a little lacking in the actual physical attributes of it. The bottom side of the controller feels too much like the xbox one controller, feeling a little too long on the sides. The shoulder buttons themselves could also be a little better positioned or the curves of the controller better contoured, so as to not feel cramped when trying to use the shoulder buttons (not the triggers) otherwise love this product!

the quality of the material is very good, its comfortable and the tactile button work well, it has very good features like the headphone jack/ builtin battery

A little pricey, but worth the money. The feel of the controller in your hand is very similar to Xbox.

This is the one accessory that made the difference between my sin liking the shield tablet and loving it. He loves this controller with his tablet. It gives him the gaming experience he enjoys.
