I bought this hoping I we be able to use my controller without always having to plug it in, but it seems that is not the case. The battery dies far too quickly.

Needed so your not using tons of batteries, it's just another add-on to your intial xbox bill which quickly runs up :(

Good for a while but loses it's battery life after a while but otherwise good for the price.

Disappointed. It worked well initially, then stopped holding a charge.

Bought this as a backup battery for my xbox wireless controller. It does not fit right in the controller and will be discharged by the next day

When I tried to exchange for a new one at Best buy, they would not help me because it was 3 days past the "return policy". Said I was on my own to contact mf. This experience has soured me on Bestbuy now. Knowing now that any thing I buy there has to be returned wthin a rediculous amount of time makes me not want to buy anything there anymore. This policy sucks!!

I usually buy official Microsoft products, but I needed a new battery. I decided to go for the cheaper route. I was skeptical at first for buying something cheaper. You know the saying, "you get what you paid for" to my surprise it has been a great battery. It does hold a long charge. No complaints on this battery. I would definitely buy more of these batteries for my other controllers.

This battery charges quickly and charge holds for quite awhile. Fit is a little snug, but not too large to break the controller! Decent price for an additional battery, especially since you can only get a microsoft battery with the docking station or play and charge kit.

Great battery pack, had been using old battery packs now I can go over a week with at least a couple hours a day without recharging. And for just 10 bucks!! Such a great deal

Excelent Battery Life, compatable with both the MS plug and play charger and the stand alone battery charger.

Performed a 5 hr marathon play after overnight charge, and it works fine. Really need more play time with it to see if it really gives me 25hrs of use. the real test would be reliability. If it only last 5 months after constant use and won't hold a charge, that's not good. feel good on controller and don't affect play. If I can, I'll return with a better review. For now I would recommend.

I am just the casual gamer who plays on the weekends usually, or if I have a vacation. I looked everywhere for just the Microsoft brand rechargeable battery pack. I cannot find them anywhere. I have the Microsoft Quick Charge Kit that came with one battery pack. This play-and-charge retailed for $19.99. I always talk to customer associates before i make a purchase. I was a little hesitant to buy an off brand product, but the sales associate reassured me the NYKO battery pack was approved by Microsoft and can be used with my charge kit. So I plugged it into my controller out of the package and i had two battery bars. after the battery died i charged it and it took an hour to do so. I took the battery out of the charger and plugged it into my controller and i got about 30 hours of gaming in. and i recharged it and this time it took 10 minutes to charge and my battery lasted for two hours. Shameful thing is this product is a week old. Spend the $20 on a play-and-charge kit. At least its Microsoft brand. Apparently, according to the other reviews it damages your controller. Microsoft NEEDS to come out with the battery packs.

I'm glad the this battery has a 25 hour long battery life. When I need to charge it, the battery doesn't take long to charge completely. I would recommend this to any one. It is a good purchase.

For the price, they kick the MS ones to death. That said, they don't fit into the controllers quite as nicely as the Microsoft ones and don't hold a charge quite as long. But at half the price, it's more than worth it.

I have been using the Nyko battery pack and charger for about 6 months. They work great. Place the controllers back in the charger after a gaming session and they are fully charged ready to go next time you are. Exactly what i was hoping for.
