As a collector of vintage adult material I found this film to be very short-sighted. It is more like a travel log of a poor demented soul. It's not even good adult material. Save your money leave this one on the shelf.

I was very engrossed in this movie. It was a good erotic drama.

This could have easily been condensed into one film. There are a few good messages in there as well as some erotic scenes, but overall it just felt unnecessarily graphic in some sections and too long.

Lars Von Trier makes perfect films. This one is no exception. The acting and directing is superb. The surreality and graphic nature is groundbreaking and LVT's keen style is uncanny and uncompromisable.

This is a theatrical version and apparently not the version intended by the director. But, if you couldn't care less, this is a great price for 2 great films by a legendary director. So, you decide.
