I really like this machine. It is convenient to use, not heavy and I can connect to my phone and any of my Bluetooth devices. I don't need CD's or tapes, I just sign into Spotify and feed it to my Nyne. I had some work to do in the house the other day and turned on the Nyne and it played for over 10 straight hours. I also use it as a replacement speaker for my IPad while streaming. It puts out a solid, deep sound and does not easily distort. It only takes a couple of hours to recharge the battery also, and I can use the speaker while recharging. I also like that I can set it on a counter or a desk or on the floor because it is not too big or too heavy. It is easy to carry as well because of the top forming a kind of lip that you can quickly grab. This is definitely worth the investment and I recommend it to anyone who likes to feel their music and keep it close.

This bad-boy is larger then I expected; it is bigger then a bread-basket. But it is VERY light, despite it's size. Solidly made. There are no rough edges, and smooth, an impressive to look at. Easy to connect to my phone, took about 15seconds. Once connected, let the music play... deep base. I cranked up Hamilton the Broadway soundtrack and it just rocked it. haven't pushed the life of the battery yet.. played for a solid hour with no problem. Only negative, is that this needs an adapter to charge, not just a USB plug. Thus adding extra battery life to this, isn't as simple as just getting a large USB battery. I already had a GoalZero Yeti 400, so not a problem... but for many, this may be a limitation.

I was working in a warehouse and wanted to use music to motivate my team to keep them moving, this thing really pumps out the sound. For the price it was a very good purchase.

I had the jbl charge 2 and 3 and this one is better for outdoors! But honestly the jbl charge 2 has the best performance indoors!

This speaker is very loud definitely a great outdoor speaker. That being said it's not the best quality for indoor use. I am satisfied with the purchase.

This speaker, which is BlueTooth compatible, is vwery easy to use. It took less than 1 minute to pair it with my iPhone and I use it everyday on the job.

I purchased both the 16 inch Rebel and the 21 inch Rock. One thing that was confusing to me is that the Rebel is listed as a 2.1. This means it sends different sound to 3 total channels (right, left and bass). BUT, it has 5 drivers. Yes, they both have 5 drivers. The Rock is a 4.1, means different sound to each 5 drivers (front left / right, rear left / right and bass). At least in the stereo receiver world it is like this. I took a flashlight to the grill to see that they BOTH in fact have 5 drivers (or cones). Not really confident that the Rock is really 4.1, or why you would need this on one speaker, but that is what they listed it as. Ok, now to the sound. I found that the sound is pretty similar. The Rock is louder but it is the type of loud that is a little distorted. So if you want the clean sound from the Rock, you would turn it down a notch or two. By that time you are at the Rebels max volume and it peaks out well. I would say that 95% of the population would be content and size / price happy, with the REBEL. In the rare case that you are using this in a large open space all the time you may consider the Rock. But remember that peak out volume distortion. Both units sound about the same at ALL other volume levels. Side Notes. 1) They will NOT both play from the same BT Connection. Not sure if you purchased two of the same Model if they would or not. 2) If you unpaired, to say take a call, the speaker will time out in about 10 minutes. This is a good thing so you don't forget about it and it drains the battery. 3) I have 4 other 10 inch and smaller BlueTooth speakers. The biggest benefit you will have with the NYNE speakers is bass, second volume. 4) can't speak about battery play time, but I would think they have the same size battery, so Rebel would last longer or the same at same volume? . In conclusion, 95% of you should go with the smaller and cheaper REBEL.

At 120 good deal, not at MSRP of 180. Bass is not deep like some reviews but adequate. What you expect for a tiny woofer. The end pieces look like they should house speakers but do not, strictly for looks? Much better than the JBL or anything else in this category. Battery life is awesome so far, (only ran it to 6-7 hours a couple times), but time will tell as it ages. Very portable and easy to carry. Will NOT fit in your bag or backpack. Great "rubberized" housing appears to be able to handle bumps.

Sound is solid and connects seamlessly to apple products.

We are super pleased with our new speaker. We were just looking for something for the house that wasn’t too expensive. We took a chance on this one and haven’t been disappointed. This speaker emits awesome sound for its size and has all the base that you would want. It really does sound like a big, full-size speaker.
