Must have speakers.. clear, crisp, deep and rich sound quality. Great for indoor or outdoor usage. Little to no distortion in max settings with bass rich audio. The speakers have a rubberized finish which is one of the best features. It’s not going to scratch or slip on the floor. I haven’t tired the throwing water on it, but I am pretty sure its splash proof based on the description. Attention to detail.. The unit is also a powerbank, so you can charge your device while playing music.

This is a large (21"), blue tooth speaker that you will feel safe leaving outside, in a covered area and not worry about it getting damaged. This is not a blue tooth speaker you will put in a bag to take to the beach or a picnic. The speaker is IPX-3 rating which means it can take some light spray/mist, but you will not be able to leave the speaker outside year round. It is covered in a hard rubber which will help if you drop the speaker or if it is knocked over. Though I wouldn't consider this a super mobile speaker, it does have a nice hidden carry handle which makes it easier to move with you. Connectivity is nice. It is Bluetooth 4.0 and if your phone has NFC you can tap your phone to the speaker to pair it with the speaker (think Android or Apple Pay). You also have the ability to add extra speakers with the Aux-out port if you need ever more sound. Lastly the speaker has a built in microphone for hands free calling which is nice around the pool. The speaker also has a 100 ft range. I was able to get that range with my iPhone 7 plus. Sound is loud! When testing the connection range of my phone to the speaker I was impressed how loud and clear the speaker is. This is a great speaker if you will have a lot of people or a lot of ground to cover. It may not be as crisp as smaller speakers, but more people will be able to hear music from this speaker. If you need a large, sturdy speaker that is able to play music loud, this is the speaker for you. If you are looking for a small speaker to be able to move around the house easily or take it where ever you go, I would look at other speakers.

Since first receiving the Nyne Rock Bluetooth speaker, I've used it to listen to music on the road and even at home. I've connected it to my Bluetooth-enabled turntable to listen to vinyl, and it comes through the speaker loud and clear with its 4.1 channel audio. I've also listened to music from my phone, and the Bluetooth 4.0 gives a connected device a vast range from the speaker. For features, it has multiple media buttons to control whatever it's connected to, including play/pause, skip back, skip next, and volume controls. The speaker also has a dedicated call answer button so that you can answer any calls if your phone is paired to it, and uses its own built-in microphone for communication. It has NFC for simplified pairing, too. I don't see myself using this feature that much since it eliminates any kind of privacy to that extent. Not everything has to be wireless—it's got line-out and aux-in ports! Very nifty. You'll want to be careful when outside, as its IPX rating isn't the best (IPX3). This means you can take it to the beach or go camping, and spray and sand won't hurt it, but don't submerge it or keep it in the rain! My favorite feature is using its USB port and using its battery to charge my phone. The box lists its play time as 10-12 hours. One very neat feature is that this portable speaker comes with international power adapters so that you can go anywhere across the world and charge its battery. Now that's pretty cool. The Nyne Rock is versatile, letting you take it wherever you want, and it'll last a good while before you need to charge it. This thing is meant to travel with you!

This Bluetooth speaker is a beast! It was bigger than expected when it arrived ( a good thing). Perfect party speaker the size of a actual boombox. I'm used to these small Bluetooth speakers that all my friends have when I go to their houses but the Nyne X series Rock will blow all those away. I personally have several Bluetooth speakers ranging in price and some that are similarly priced to this one. This one takes the cake. It can get really loud with minimal distortion at the loudest level. Bass comes in strong and deep with mids and highs being clear. The outside has a rubber matte finish to it that I love, which means it's more durable and no finger prints. You can make and take phone calls, it has NFC. The controls are on top and are lighted so u can easily see at night. The back panel looks to have a waterproof seal you can open up to reveal the power connection, lighted battery level, USB port for charging accessories, line out and AUX in. This unit also comes with several plug adapters for use in other countries and a sweet angled Aux cable. Overall I would definitely recommend this Bluetooth speaker.

This speaker sounds good but needs much more volume. It's not quiet but I like very loud music. There is no distortion at full volume so there is room to go higher

This product is built to last and i purchased it for our Lake House. I am amazed at the performance of the NYNE Rock, for the price.

Easy to take around, great sound, sleek looking, easy to use, and simple set up.

I bought this yesterday from the Yorba Linda location and spent the night listening to different types of music to see if it lived up to the size and price. Long story short, it did. The Rock is a beast. This filled up my entire house with great sound. I picked this up for a camping speaker, but after listening to it last night, this is going to be our main house speaker.

This has to be the best speaker I have ever had. The Bass is clear and it seriously pounds! LOVE LOVE IT!!!

I HAD BOSE AND JBL NOTHING CLOSE TO THIS BEAST. ITS LOUD WITH QUALITY SOUND,IT CONNECTS IN A SECOND AND ALSO GOT THE LOOK.I DO LOVE IT.
