The RGB will not work without an available NZXT RGB Controller (not included), or a Kraken AIO. Without one of these, the fans themselves lose some value on their own. The lighting effects are clean and sleek, all customizable via NZXT's CAM software.

The contesting black and white looks really good. If you're looking for static pressure fans, though. I would go with something else. As these are hybrids. Also, they're non-reversable. Meaning there is no LED's on the opposite side and the front isn't completely flat, so even if you didn't care about the LED's and flipped this around, they wouldn't sit flush with the case. But that's not a bad thing! I love these :)
