This is the first PSU I’ve installed. Apart from my pc being prebuilt and stupid, it fit perfectly and the cables it came with saved my life.

Bought this psu in 1000 watt for my personal rig, liked it so much that I almost exclusively buy the 850 watt for my customers' builds since even 1000 is overkill for me.

Fit in case well. Installed in Old Antex 900 v2 case. Had a big problem though. The fan rubbed on top of power supply case. Didn`t have time to return so I went ahead and violated the warranty and fixed fan. The fan switch on back by power switch is a very confusing addition. You will see when you download manual and read how it is supposed to work. If you press it in, fan runs and when you leave it out, it`s automatic based on load. Why not just get rid of switch. Way too confusing. Even when running at 50% load, it's still very quiet. As for operation, works well and problem with old supply, high noise levels caused by failing high voltage capacitors, is now gone. Would buy again. Maybe next time, if fan rubbing case is a problem will return for a replacement.

I purchased an open box to save a few dollars and it was perfect. This is the best value 850w on the market. Very high quality, you can check the review on Cybenetics Labs website. It's actually made by Channel Well Tech, the same manufacturer as Corsair's 850w unit. It is not a Seasonic like the other review mentions. NZXT got a big infusion of cash from venture capital so they will be around to honor the 10 yr warranty.

Great psw, not super loud, was easy to fit in my pc and all the wires felt good, the packaging was nice

I bought it to have the newer power connector for the 5080 i got at launch. I preferred not to use the 3x8pin adapter if possible. It’s been solid for me.
