George Clooney leads a great cast in a great road-gang escape story that is artfully filmed. The characters are very funny and the dialogue and the depression era travel adventure is a comedy of their misguided priorities. However our heroes seem to have fates of the blessed. They survive and are redeemed. The music is great and it works with the plot, and the characters are bigger than life archetypes. Special Features on the DVD explain the thought and creativity that went into the visual quality of the film. Funny and meaningful, it must not be missed.

I already own the DVD but wanted to watch it on Blu-ray. I searched the usual places for awhile but Best Buy had the lowest price by far. Perfectly packed and promptly delivered, the movie arrived in perfect shape and it was great!

I can’t believe it took me this long to watch this movie. I’ve been missing out all these years. This was a classic film! Great acting, great script, great movie!! Everyone should own and watch this film! 

A great film with George Clooney and John Tuturro. I've always seen the movie online, but never sat down to enjoy it until now.

This title seems difficult to find on streaming platforms, so it’s great to have this blu-ray option at a good price. It’s a special little film and with its use of color grading, a piece of Hollywood history. Very happy to have this in my collection.

George Clooney John Turturro and John Goodman are at their slapstick best in this Academy award nominated film. The music is great and the camera work is too.

Outstanding Blu-ray edition of a terrific film. The story is interesting and fun. The characters are fully realized The bad guys are perfect depression era bad guys.

The Coen Bros. masterpiece, this movie has it all! A retelling of Homer's Odyssey, set in Mississippi back in the roaring 30's. The Coen's typically amazing cast includes many from their regular troupe, including George Clooney at his charming and funny best, joined by John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson as fugitives from a chain gang. As Clooney tries vainly to return to his ex-wife (Holly Hunter) and family, the three meet legends like delta bluesman Robert Johnson, Baby Face Nelson, as well as the Governor (skillfully played by the late Charles Durning), while running afoul of the law, the Klan, and John Goodman, as a Bible selling con man. With a Grammy award- winning soundtrack produced by T-Bone Burnett, it also took the nod for Grammy's album of the year, with standout performances by Alison Krauss, bluegrass legend Ralph Stanley, Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, Norman Blake and Sam Bush, to name but a few. You'll watch this over and over, and still laugh at details you missed the first dozen times!

A Super funny movie with an all star cast. Will be a family favorite at my house i aldo own the soundtracks
