It is better build quality than Apple’s traditional silicone bands. It feels very secure on the wrist, and it’s great for water activities since it dries quickly.

The titanium ring came off in the water with some beginner surfing. Apple wouldn’t replace it, even though the watch/band were less than a year old. Doesn’t really live up to the promise of being for extreme adventure.

I still prefer the Alpine Loop look and feel, but this one is way more convenient and easier to clean.

It's not as lightweight as the Trail Loop that came with my AW Ultra, but it feels more secure when I'm using it while swimming.

However, it is on the expensive side but Apple is making up for allowing previous bands to used. It’s probably $25-$40 more than it should be. If you do’t need a band don’t go for it.
