I was worried Owl City might have been a one-hit wonder with Fireflies, but man I was wrong. This album's chock full of amazing songs (with a few lacking ones, but those are few), and some of the messages it carries throughout are just great. Definitely a recommended buy, guaranteed if you're an Owl City fan. This album (along with the others) has made him my favourite.

So this is the deluxe version released after the original album, and this version can't be found in stores. It contains the original hits, "Fireflies," "Vanilla Twilight," and "Umbrella Beach" (for all you UK fans), and a few promotional extras that until now were digital exclusives ("Hot Air Balloon," "Strawberry Avalanche"). These extra tracks are found on the second disc. The extra tracks are a nice bonus, though they make the album feel a little more disjointed. Extras aside, this is still the same surprise-hit album from 2009, with "Fireflies" as an album highlight. If you like Postal Service or synthpop in general, you'll like this, and the extra cash is worth it for the whole package.

Owl City (Adam Young)'s breakthrough soundtrack that swept the nation with ten million fireflies. He's one of the best in the genre, and will leave you dreamy-eyed and in awe. The music and meaningful lyrics compliment each other in the best way possible.

The CD is great. I love the music and the lyrics. The cover art is great too!
