I thought this film lived up to the expectations for fans of "The Oceans..." franchise, that dates back to when Frank Sinatra was Danny Ocean, coolest jewel thief in the business. I think it was time there was an addition to the series using an all woman cast of thieves. Headed by Sandra Bullock, who plays, uh, Debbie Ocean, (that could have been written a bit better), the sister of the deceased, Danny Ocean, she is just released from prison and is hatching a plan for a major heist. The film has beautiful costumes, a fun, interesting, high and low tech heist, and must be a new record for the number of great actresses, from Rhianna, and a darling neophyte, Awkwafina, who plays a street hustler and expert pickpocket who travels on her skateboard, to women we haven't seen in ages, like Marlo Thomas, and Elizabeth Ashley. Their parts were basically cameos, but I just love the idea of them being included in the cast Cate Blanchette, Anne Hathaway, and Sarah Paulson held the major roles, and all did a good job. This movie is a fun romp. It's not Shakespeare, and it's not supposed to be. It's a glitzy trip, following the characters, all gifted in their criminal specialty, or what becomes criminal, executing the elaborate plan to steal a 150 million dollar diamond necklace loaned out for the party of the year in NYC. Good direction, editing, and beautiful cinematography, no sad parts or deaths. Just a good time at the movies on a summer night.

Nice SteelBook average movie. To be fair I got this on sale for $10 so I’m not gonna be that critical but definitely not up to the level of the previous movies in the series.

Its mostly just about watching all these actresses have fun together but i suppose thats all Ocean's films if you think about. Loved the heist and Sandy is everything

Loved this movie. Best Buy had a great Steelbook version and I prefer the cover much more than the regular release. Thanks Best Buy for the awesome collectable steelbooks!

I really enjoyed the movie. Not quite as good as the 1st/3rd movies in the original Trilogy, but it had enough elements and a dynamic enough cast to work.

This was a funny indirect sequel to the original oceans series focusing on a new crew. It does a pretty good job of following the the flow of the originals.

This movie did not let down at all. It held up to the other Ocean’s movies. I was very impressed with the switch up and how they didn’t let the Ocean’s chain down.

I bought this movie for my wife. She really enjoyed at the movies so I had to buy it for her. It’s a remake of an original film but a great movie nonetheless.

Oceans 8 is a great heist movie. While most of the heist is predictable it is still fun to see how things play out. The end does have some fun and unexpected twists.

Set in the same universe as the Oceans trilogy this film follows Danny Ocean's sister as she pulls off a heist. This film is well paced and well acted.

Pretty good follow up to the last 3. It definitely held its own with the new cast and tied in well to the storyline of the previous movies.

A fun movie with an incredibly talented cast of women. They were able to make a completely unique movie while still keeping the spirit of the original movies.

What can i say, great cast wonderful bonus features. This film has been by far my favorite this time around. Its funny, amazing and action packed as well.

This was a pretty good movie. I liked how they connected it to the ocean series with George Clooney and had some of those characters in here.

While not quite as good as the original (what is?), this is still a worthy addition to the Ocean's storylines. I hope they continue to make them.

The movie itself isn't great but if you like it the presentation and steelbook are great. This is so far the best version of this movie.

This’s a very enjoyable movie to watch with a great cast. By the way. I like the steel book from Best Buy make my movie collections look nice.

It a solid movie in the franchise, some people are upset that its an all girl cast. But the movie turned out great. Smart, and funny.

Excellent movie, i mean who doesn't like a good heist thriller? Dolby vision 4k presentation was excellent, highly recommended
