This is an amazing movie, especially in the 4K Ultra HD! You really feel like you are there.

Took advantage of holiday sales and got this 4K documentary to add to my collection.

This looks spectacular on my 4K tv. My only regret is that it is only 40 minutes long

As usual, BBC delivers on this nature film. It is a little short, at just 40 minutes. One of my favorite parts was actually one of the bonus features that talked about becoming a marine biologist/oceanographer. That is what my high-school-aged son is thinking about for a career path, so I was happy to show him the film in tandem with a little guidance on how to get to be one of these lucky scientists. As for the technical aspects, the 4K HDR is striking. From the opening shot of the ocean waves, you know you're in for a treat. Some of the footage was captured for other documentaries like BLUE PLANET II, but not shown. For example, the footage of the octopus using shells to disguise itself from the shark is in here, although the footage shown is a bit different. The audio is only DTS-HD 5.1 rather than immersive Dolby Atmos or DTS-X, which is disappointing, but it does sound good. Recommended if you can find it at $15 or less.

This is a good movie and has alot of good graphics. It was a little shorter of a movie than what I like.

Excellent use of HDR grading. If you have kids at home, they’ll be very entertained by this disc.
