This looks great! Wish it was a bit longer in length.

Best part = Really excellent 4K video. Worst part - only 40 minutes and no in-depth examination of any ocean life. Great for first introduction to Oceanography, but weak if you have good background. The excellent video makes it worthwhile, and you do learn some fascinating new info about the ocean life.

I enjoyed the cinematography. The UHD experience was great. I watch a lot of these types of ocean documentaries being a diver and reef aquarist and walked away learning a few new things I didn't know about! Very cool. As usual a little too much emphasis on global warming nonsense. But between the cinematography, sound captured and uhd format it was worth the sale price it was purchased for.

This was a great purchase, and I've watched it at least three times already. Nicely narrated by Kate Winslet and the footage is absolutely amazing and beautiful. If you have a 4K blu-ray player and tv, it is well worth it. I tried the blu-ray to see the difference, and it is very noticeable with the cameras they use for nature filmmaking.

I'm a certified diver, and as such, I've got a developing concern for the world's oceans. This video goes a long way towards exposing us to concerns that we should have for our oceans. it's extremely well done and informative...

This documentary produced by the BBC is a quick 45 minute view into some of the animals in our oceans. Some new information is given and the narration by Kate Winslet is pleasing as well. Visually, the film gives great views that really pop out in 4K HDR, however the only sound option offered is DTS-MA. Not bad, but I was hoping for a Dolby Atmos mix.

This is a amazing disc to test out your 4K UHD Blu -ray player that's paired with a 4K UHD T.V. I have other UHD movies, but when I played this, everything came together. The color and clarity were outstanding! And the movie itself was cinematic and interesting.

I really liked this movie, and the picture quality of the 4K version on my Sony Bravia XBR-55X950G was amazing. The narration was great, you really learn a lot during the movie but it keeps your interest. The picture quality is what really got me. It is comparable to movies shot in IMAX in my opinion.

The filmography is very educational and the quality of the 4K is absolutely stunning. I had this on when I had family drop by and they couldn’t believe the picture quality of this film. They told me they were going to get the DVD’s also. Seriously, you have to see this to believe it.

I love these nature documentaries specially in 4K this one is awesome all about the ocean sharks octopus eels all kinds of stuff they can eat you I love it makes you want to go into the ocean with an ex-wife just kidding got a check it out

I ordered this after waiting about a month for it to appear able to ship to my location. It arrived today and started watching it and was impressed by the quality and detail that was put into it. Although I am quite unhappy that it lasted only approximately 42 minutes. I was hoping it would be either the average length of a movie or a few episodes like planet earth 2. If I had realized how short it was I believe it would have deterred me from purchasing, and this also got me looking at low rated reviews of other documentaries I had in my saved items and seen people write about how short they are in which I removed them from my saved items. I feel I dont want to pay roughly just under the price of a full movie and get only half the length of one.

we own all of the series - they just keep getting better. in fact popping one in the blue ray now! its a good switch from what's on the regular television. great for all ages, kids love it, parents and friends have borrowed it

It is OK for the price but not as good as the BBC Planet series.
