The game has a great story, graphics, and battle mechanics. The extra stuff in the Wayfarer's Edition is also very cool. I especially like coin that comes with it.

Great RPG game with fantastic gameplay, good story, and fun fighting mechanics. The additional items included are nice things to have for a collector or big fan of the game.

The game is great and has had 2 demo so you should try it yourself regardless if a review. It’s a different take on turn-based JRPGs with an inspired art style that combines retro and current 3D (not like PS1 3D) The Wayfarer edition gets you a cool 8 page pop-up book, a heavy substantial coin and a clothy map. Seems a bit much for something I really can’t display. Still, the storybook theme does match.

I've been collecting JRPG collectors editions for many years now and I love getting games through bestbuy I usually can do instore pickup but not this time. I was worried about it at first but the shipping came with a lot of bubble wrap so my game box was unharmed. On to the game itself. I've been chipping away at the game every night and it the perfect game to sit for long periods of time to see the stories unfold then lay in bed for 30 minutes to grind out some monsters for loot and EXP.

This game is absolutely incredible, from the voice acting, to the soundtrack, to the battle mechanics, and the charm of the graphics just make this game all the better.

Originally bought the normal edition, then happened upon a copy of this on release day, sitting on the shelf. I gave the normal one to a friend and kept this one. It was worth paying a bit more. The soundtrack is amazing. The pop up book was a fun idea, though, I do wish they would have made the design of the display better. The coin was surprisingly hefty and better quality than expected. I do wish the cloth map was a bit bigger and clearer print, but I like that it was double sided with art. Overall, happy and glad to add it to my collection.

Octo Path is great because of its battle system and story! It’s so long though, I’ve already put 45-50 hours and I’m only 3/4 of the way done.

This is a really fun and new RPG that changes the formula of combat a bit. I really like the art style and I'm having a great time with it!

Classic JPRG fans will love this game. Beautiful art style, amazing music, and great old school gameplay.

I've been a fan of JRPG for decades, and this takes me back to those days. Awesome story, and retro graphics. This is a must pick up!

Very happy with this one, though some might complain it requires too much grinding, the battle system is fantastic.

The artwork and style really appeal to me. What also motivated me to purchase the collectors was their intentions of not adding un needed or low quality dlc just to make sales. Offering up as a complete game seem to be lost concept or principle these days in the industry. So they have my whole support. It works even nice seeing as this game surprisingly picked immense popularity at the last minute and sold out. Making my choice for this collector a cherry on top.

I played the demo and decided to buy the game.. I always buy the enhanced game if it is not too overpriced because of the extra items (Swag).. The game is a fantastic old time Role Playing Game that are making a come back. The world is an open world environment that I like.. Game play is smooth.. If you want to grind for levels you are free to do that too.. I love grinding for levels.. A real winner of a Japanese RPG.. I am glad they put this out for our area.

This game is incredible! As a gamer who grew up on all the 8-bit and 16-bit systems, I was incredibly disappointed by the N64. This game is exactly what I had always hoped would come from the SNES successor. OT may be late to the party, but this game is a true classic! The Wayfarer's Edition is absolutely incredible as well, with an amazing pop-up book built right into the box. The attention to detail is top notch in the game all the way to it's packaging.

One of the best rpg of our time the music is pleasing to the ear the story will keep you on the edge

This game was a cool drink of water. An oasis in a desert of gaming. HOURS upon HOURS of gameplay, with high replay value, giving you the chance to change your reactions and interactions, etc. The storylines and plots were beautifully done, the game mechanics themselves; very reminiscent of Bravely Default, and it works remarkably. There was not a single moment of it that I did not enjoy!

The game uses an old school pixel artform with updated lightning techniques. classic SNES rpg gameplay.

Collector's edition is unique because of the pop-up book. Great has great gameplay, music, and visuals.
