Poor product quality, easily cracked. Bestbuy couldn't make the switch for me and I had to speak to Oculus directly to get it resolved.

If you've already spent money on an Oculus, you might as well enjoy it to its fullest. The elite strap makes a night-and-day difference in regard to comfort on the head, and the extended battery not only extends gameplay but works as a counterweight on the headset making the unit easier to wear for extended periods of time without neck or head strain. A MUST buy - don't think about it. Plus, you really need the case to protect your investment.

Yeah, I love this oculus quest two elite strap with battery and carrying case the battery is what really makes this thing it doesn’t add much more weight doesn’t feel uncomfortable. It’s super comfortable, but it adds hours of play which is incredible. It really does a great job the carrying case is phenomenal for it, yeah, it’s great

Coming off of an original Rift CV1 and a Rift S I knew I'd need to get the Elite Strap due to the somewhat flimsy strap included with the Quest 2... I'm used to more support vs less support. When I saw that they were including a version of the Elite Strap with an added battery and a pretty nice looking case, the choice was made for me! Straight up this battery strap is a very good thing, it extends the internal battery life of your Quest 2 by about 2-3 hours depending on what you're doing (obviously games eat up more power than watching a movie)... at the end of the day you get on average about 4-6 hours of total battery life, which is very useful. Compared to the included Quest 2 material strap, the battery on the back and the extra weight of the plastic helps balance out the weight of the Quest 2 itself making things feel more stable and generally more comfy. Also the adjustment knob at the back of the Elite Strap lets you get a good seal on your face. There is a USB C cable which travels from the battery pack and connects to the USB C port on the Quest 2... for charging both batteries there is a USB C port on the bottom of the battery pack (below the adjustment knob thing). Unfortunately this second USB C port does not allow for pass-through for Link (connecting the Quest 2 to a gaming PC)... you need to unplug the battery cable and let it hang to the side to use link with the main USB C port. This isn't really an issue as the Link hookup itself should keep you charged (if you have a quality cable, like the official Oculus Link cable), but the positioning of the back downward facing USB C port would make for a more logical spot for tethering (vs the front right hand side). Either way it's fine, just a bit of a missed opportunity imho. The case itself is also quite nice, it's a dense zip up clam shell/pod type thing and is covered by a very wooly feeling felt type material... there is also a faux soft leathery strap to carry it with. It's quite nice and does exactly what it's supposed to. Only downside is the lack of (re-pluggable) holes for charging the Quest 2 in the case itself, it needs to be resting halfway out of the case, and even upside down if you have the Elite Battery Strap attached. Also the hidden zipper has stuck a few times when trying to open it for me, but I have managed to work that out. It can get stuck on the USB C cable which connects the battery pack to the headset, you can avoid this by making sure you push it down in the case before zipping it up. Overall a nice hard shell case, especially if you plan on taking it places! At the end of the day, I do think the comfort and extra battery life is worth it and the case is well made, and very cool looking... I'm only removing a star for the minor issues listed above... ie: The lack of a convenient USB C pass-through in the battery pack for Oculus Link and the lack of a charge port, or ports really, along with a possible fussy zipper in the carrying case. Buy it for the comfort factor, the double the battery life factor and the cool case to store it in factor and you're golden! :)

This is definitely a needed upgrade for the Meta Quest 2. Adds much more battery life and makes the headset much more comfortable and easier to adjust. I will say that you can get a cheaper alternative because this is pretty pricey. But works as expected and no issues.

I purchased a total of 5 of these with 5 Oculus head sets last Christmas with no issue so far. The carrying case is the sleek and can fit in book bag. This case I think have a $40 MSRP. Essentially the remainder is covering an extra batter and elite strap. Worth every penny. I think the strap with head cup is excellent for players who use products their hair that could cause grease build up. Due this being completely from plastic this allow you to clean it delicately versus the original strap that come with it. Oculus regular strap do not have head cup in the back. Drawback is the 2 plastic sides that connects to the actual oculus could break so make sure you store this away in the case that come with it or a safe place. Kind of tricky putting straps on, I would suggest watching YouTube video prior to assembling. It not super difficult it just feel awkward. However once you do 1 side you be ok. There is no charge light on the extended battery. I suggest charging overnight to make sure.

I absolutely love this add on for the quest 2 it just makes the headset fit seamlessly on my head while distributing the way so your neck doesn't hurt. It also has a built in battery back that adds about 2 extra hours of gameplay. I've had it for a while now and haven't had it crack or break. Fingers crossed.

    So far, so good…

*knock wood* I haven’t fallen victim to the infamous strap crack/break yet. I’ve used this head strap every day for about a week now and it’s been really good. I love the convenience of the battery pack being included as well (light and not clunky). My only real gripe as of right now has to do with the case actually - such an approximate fit for the elite strap, I’m sure it’s perfect. However, for the elite strap WITH the battery pack, there’s a clip to keep the cord tidy, but it adds to the overall fit of the head strap. The clip causes the zipper to stick…A LOT. Between the “sticky” zipper and the fairly weak like structure of the zipper pull, I can’t say with complete confidence that the case will last. I already have a different case I’ve ordered on Amazon arriving in a few days.

Much more comfortable than the soft strap the Quest comes with, and the battery life extension is great. The charging port location is a little awkward since it's at the very back of the strap. It also works very nicely with headphones- I use Sony XM4's on top of my Quest and they fit fine. The case is a little strange- the material is very rough, feels almost unfinished. The zipper is also recessed, so it's tricky to adjust if something gets in the way. It fits a charger, the Quest with hard strap, and the Touch controllers, so it's overall a good case. My only real complaint is that it's a bit awkward to install the strap, but it makes sense, since you only really need to do that once.

The Quest 2 Elite Strap with battery and carrying case does exactly what it advertises: it gives users more playtime/battery and ease of travel with the case. The elite strap and battery provide a sturdier experience on one's head, especially while playing games that involve a lot of movement, such as Gorn and fitness applications. However, the elite strap with battery is not quite as convenient as the default strap that came with the headset and installing it can feel difficult and awkward if you aren't okay with manhandling the headset a little. The elite strap and battery, while being a great value, requires a good bit of adjustment on the tighten/loosen wheel on the back of the strap if I want to put it on my Insignia Oculus stand or in the Oculus carrying case. I am an average sized adult male who wears glasses on the regular, so I would have imagined it would the strap would work in conjunction with the accessories but that is not the case. For me, I have to loosen the strap if I want to set it on my stand after playing and have to tighten it if I want to pack it into my carrying case. Additionally, with the glasses insert inserted into the headset, the elite strap would not loosen enough for me to fit it on with my glasses, which are average sized and rectangular. None of these small problems were present for me while using the default strap, however, everyone's usage will vary based on their head size and needs. Build quality and value of the elite strap and battery with the carrying case are good, I am just personally affected by the shortcomings of the sizing of the accessories.

Replaced my broken normal Elite Strap with this one using my GSP strictly for the built-in battery as when I originally wanted it this model was unavailable at the time. The carrying case was a plus, a little tight to fit my controllers with the knuckle grips attached, but everything does fit inside and seems snug and nothing rattles or moves while closed. The battery built in to the back part of the strap is the biggest improvement to my VR experience so far. Evens out the weight of the headset while also making playtime last longer, especially when I using AirLink to place PCVR games.

Item is well worth the money of course I wish it was cheaper but with a simple breakdown you’re getting a lot of value here , first off the fit is awesome and trust me you’re saving time with the adjustable feature on this compared to the stock bands the oculus comes with , also it’s MUCH more comfortable, on top of that you’re getting a very nice hard shell case and extra two hour battery life as well as a nice counterbalance as the oculus can really become front heavy after 30 minutes of usage . Very much worth the money in my opinion. Psooks a lot a lot cooler to

This was literally the missing piece. Game play is so much more comfortable with the Elite adjustable strap. You still feel some pressure on tie face while playing. However the security you with with this strap allows me to not be so paranoid and over tighten the elastic strap. The additional battery pack is nice as well. We charge both up before we visit anywhere and more friends and family can enjoy the console before it dies. The fact that this came with the case already was a bonus. I honestly didn’t even realize it was included.

Purchased this for myself and 2 other elites (without the battery for my boys). Let me start off by saying that the head rest (bowl) in the back of the headset really allows it to stay snug and secure on the heads. This particular unit has a battery pack and comes with the case which is fantastic deal for those who like to have storage and extended play times. It is easy to install and offers far better fit than the stock straps.
