Oculus has room for a lot of improvements but as is stands and depending on what you are doing; (Movies, games, or work), you will find yourself picking this up just out of need for an extra hour. However, If you don't find yourself needing more than 2-3hours, I would not recommend picking this up. Not worth the price tag.

Facebook is making me jump through hoops to get a replacement for an obviously faulty product. I put in a ticket for replacement 2 weeks ago and facebook tell me they have to send me a label? How long can that take? Should of known better.

I strongly recommend getting the vive deluxe audio strap and using a portable Anker lithium power pack that is 10000mah or higher. Make sure it has at least a usb A 2.1 or 2.4 output port. In order to use the vive deluxe strap you will also need some custom 3d printed adapter plates. You can get those on Etsy for under 20 bucks. I want to also note that I reached out to Oculus about this and they simply said I would have to wait while they investigate further. Thats a stalling tactic that call centers and customer service uses to have you keep the product until your return window is up. You may or may not ever actually get a unit replaced under warranty from a company like Facebook. They are rich enough that they can afford to lose customers.

I was able to get over 5 hours of gaming before I had to recharge. However, the elite strap would not charge after that. I returned it.
