Truly upsetting that thin plastic sides of strap crumbled. Crumbled! Always careful to pick up the Oculus by the unit itself, making sure not to apply any pressure on the strap. Battery life great but cheaply made.

The strap is ok, we’ll see if it breaks in the long run. I just received this today, and my first experience right out of the gate was bad. The zipper was completely stuck and would not open more than 2-3inches. I had to force it open to get the strap, breaking the zipper. I plan on requesting a new case from Oculus support. If that doesn’t work then I’ll consider returning this. I’ve seen nothing but really disappointing quality from every Oculus hardware product since the Quest 2 launch. Sucks because when everything works, Quest 2 might be the best VR headset on the market, all factors considered.

Used this for 4 times, about 1 hour per use, after installing and arm developed crack. Recommend look for a third party solution or Oculus to redesign. Comfort was good, support arm material seems flimsy plastic.

Returned, just felt less immersive than the quest 1

Had it from day one, biggest complaint is the strap, alot of these straps ended up breaking because of a manufacturing defect. Luckily Oculus will replace it under warranty... but I've been waiting for my replacement for over a month.

Too difficult to change straps, was afraid I would end up breaking the oculus strap so returned. Ended up purchasing an easy to use clip on battery pack from Amazon.

I’ll give it 2 stars because the idea was good but this thing is super fragile. Less than a week and it’s already starting to crack! This will be getting returned ASAP!!

Cheaply made the sides are easy to crack if you make it too tight.. Once an item is damaged you cannot return it no matter what. Think they going to do recall on it over a 100 people reported the same issue cracking sides. Google or YouTube it. don't buy

Not a sturdy product at all. It broke with light use and was in the case all the time when not in use.

Platic broke after just 6 months of use. Only sitting on the couch with it, no crazy movements ever.

The early units (and some more recent ones as well) would either crack at the arms, or tear apart from the plastic at the rubber head band, for no real reason. No abuse or anything, mine didn't last 8 hours. They're just poorly designed and I would recommend the third party halo straps which have been much more durable in my experience, and more comfortable.

Besides the many reports of cracking straps there seems to be a second design flaw emerging, the battery drains on its own, this means there's a current draw when the unit is supposed to be off.any thoughts of traveling with this battery such as flying on an airline means it will be draining the minute you remove it from the wall plug when not even using it.

Breaks easy. Poorly constructed. The pros are the battery life.

I would not recommend this strap, unless you take really good care of it. If you look it up alone there are dozens of reviews of this strap cracking on the sides. I would wait until Facebook/Oculus acknowledges the issue, and commits to a design change

I'm pretty upset, as I preordered this elite strap with battery the day it was offered. I HAD TO WAIT A WEEK to find out it was lost in the mail and no replacement was available. I'm pretty disappointed. Don't bother getting this in the mail. Better to look online for your closest store. IF THEY EVEN HAVE THEM.

My strap cracked after 2 1/2 months and i take care of my stuff!

This item is recalled and is breaking left and right from normal use I was one of the people who said they wouldn’t happen to me but it did and now mine is cracked in two spots from playing Tetris....TETRIS
