Touch remotes are extremely responsive. No lag. When sensors are placed correctly during setup, the touch controls are detected and work very well. Just make sure your sensors are spaced and position properly. Ergonomics are nice. Only neg is the position of the home button below the joystick. sometimes when moving the joystick down or up, your thumb can hit that home button and exit the game out of no where. Little annoying, but just takes a little bit of getting used to it and getting the position of your hand placement correct.

The Oculus Rift with Oculus Touch controllers is my favorite of all the VR systems I have purchased so far. I have the Samsung Gear VR, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive and once I purchased a third camera, the Rift has held my preference the most. Regardless of the system, they are all absolutely worth it. The Oculus feels like the most polished VR system and the Oculus Touch controllers fit perfectly in your hands, are lightweight, and the touch response adds extra immersion. Plus, it pretty much mimics the design of the Xbox One controller split in half, so the button layout is somewhat familiar. The feel is perfect for any game that requires grabbing or shooting. This is the first generation of this style of VR and there is plenty of room for improvement. Some things I don’t like compared to the other systems are not necessarily something that would prevent me from recommending the Rift, just little quirks in comparison to the other major VR providers. The biggest issue I have is in order to have a full 360° room-scale experience a third camera is highly recommended. Without the third camera there are certain angles that the controllers may bug out causing issues in game if not just being pure frustrating. The headset comes with one camera and the controllers come with one. The third camera from Oculus Store comes with a 15ft USB extension cable which forces the USB port down to USB 2.0, the recommended port anyways. This also requires some fine tuning of the camera positions as they are limited in viewing angle and distance so you can’t get the large scale of the HTC Vive. The angles also end up limiting how high or low you can reach in your environment. Overall, I enjoy the Rift most at my house as I have the cameras fine-tuned and the controllers just make me feel even more immersed when I see hands moving the way they actually are, finger pointing and all. I can only imagine where this will take us in the near future.

So much can be said about this. VR does have a high $$$ barrier for entry, but is definitely worth it. New games/experiences weekly with constant updates from existing developers. Must try experience.

Touch is now an essential component of a VR experience. If you have a Rift but no touch controllers, you are doing yourself a disservice. I wouldn't recommend owning a Rift w/o them.

These hand controllers add the touch feel to the VR experience. You can reach out and grasp VR items. Recent updates allow you to see your virtual hands. Thumb and pointer finger position and motion are also captured and shown in the VR environment. Additionally there are joy stick and button switches which allow enhanced control or selection interface from within the VR environment,

If you want the most immersive, true, VR experience, DEFINITELY get these controllers. There are only a few dozen games that properly utilize them so far, but they're among the best VR games with Oculus Rift support so you'll probably want them, anyway. More responsive, intuitive, and comfortable than the HTC Vive controllers by far. A single AA battery powers each one and so far it seems to last a good few months of daily use.

These make the vr experience much better, they allow you to use your hands just like you would in real life. Shipping was fast as well, overall I am very pleased.

Until I got my Oculus Rift bundle, I rarely used controllers. I'm strictly a keyboard/mouse PC gamer. But these Touch controllers feel so intuitive and natural, I grew accustomed to them easily. They're great fun when playing Robo Recall, Discovering Space and using Google Earth VR. Definitely get the bundle while it's still $399 so you don't have to pay the extra $100 for them. Recommended.

These controllers take your VR experience to a different level, makes the oculus head over heels better than any other VR!

Make sure the area is clear. With these controller you'll be reaching out to grab, punch, and smash things. The VR to VR hand position is spot on. The Oculus would not be as good if it wasn't for the games. The games I've played have been while though out and show case very well the future of VR. You have to experience it for yourself. Motion sickness is all in the game. I've play some that have been tested for VR and they play great; and play other indie not tested games that made me feel off. Stop by a best buy and see for yourself. The games they are showing are top notch. Please support VR no matter what platform you choose. Gaming has come a long way over the years and this will put you in the world of its creators rather is be a low poly game like SuperHot, a mairo like game cub game like Lucky Tail, or Robo Recall. Yes you are wired in with the headset. So were our controllers years ago. You get to try interesting concept of game that you rarely see on other platforms. This is a great platform that game developers are going to have a great time with coming up with new and interesting ways to play game.

I bought these with my Oculus Rift and can't imagine using it without them. Makes everything feel fairly natural, I have tried a few times with the normal Xbox Controller and it feels unnatural, the touch controllers give you that natural feel and the battery life seems pretty good (I haven't changed the batteries yet).

I couldn't imagine having an Oculus Rift without the Oculus Touch. Although not all apps can use them, the ones that do really make the VR experience much more immersive. They are very easy operate. A plus of purchasing the Oculus Touch is that they come with an additional sensor for the Rift which helps the coverage.

The Oculus Touch, just takes your Oculus VR experiance to the next level. no more game controller or mouse.

This is a must have if you have the Oculus Rift. I don't know how a person would use it without these!!

I'm am thoroughly impressed with the Oculus Rift and the Touch Controllers. It really feels like you are dropped into another world. I've even caught myself trying to lean on tables in front of me because they seem so real. Controllers are easy to use too and the tutorials are easy to understand.

I got these a few days after xmas. After having enjoyed Rifting thru all the demos and apps, I wanted to see what VR was truly meant to be...and this is the key to entering that door. Design seems to just fit your hand, regardless of hand size. Breathes life into the virtual world. Def get it.

I was skeptical about how some controllers strapped to my wrists could really be that impressive in VR. After all, though they were pretty neat, the Wii controls from a decade ago weren't exactly precision implements. I haven't used wireless controllers like this until my Touch controllers came. The controllers are light-weight and solid. So solid, in fact, that when I was playing Robo Recall (as of this writing, free from the Oculus store when you register Touch controllers), I punched clear through a ceiling fan light globe. At first, I was really impressed with the haptic feedback from the controller, then I realized I really actually broke something. Fun times. I wouldn't recommend the Rift without these. The Rift, though really neat, is just a VR headset. The ability to intuitively interact with the virtual world with the Touch controllers is what makes my VR experiences so enjoyable. I highly, highly recommend getting these with the Rift.
