Improved upon the original formula of the Playstation 2 game, and even attempted some new things (shooter levels, multiple difficulties, added scenes), but best in short spurts as the game can get tedious. The controls are sharp and the story dramatic. Recommended. The art is gorgeous.

Everything you loved about the PS2 classic is back and better than ever. With new enemies, skill trees, additional areas to explore, better maps, overhauled combat/specials and the greatest thing of all is it runs at 1080p at 60FPS with no slowdown. A game no JRPG fan should miss.

Odin Sphere is amazing, any fan of games in general, not just RPG's, needs to check it out. The artwork is fantastic and the collector's edition bonuses here are also cool, the t-shirt is a great little extra and the artwork book is again amazing. One of Atlus' best games!

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir is one of the few games I've platinumed as it is a blast to play from beginning to end. The game tells the interwoven stories of 5 characters, all with their own moves, abilities, play style and upgrade paths. The story has its charms, and can be engaging at times, but the combat is really where the game is at its best. Each character story takes about 5-6 hours as you fight through the various stages, stringing together attacks, abilities, and potions (through a robust crafting system), Each stage ranks you on the S-A-B-C-D scale that is common in action games, with each giving you differing rewards. The art style of the game is gorgeous, with varied environments and enemy types (though you will visit the same stages and fight the same enemies with each character), and the visuals are fluid during combat. The game has a high replay value for anyone that enjoys action games.

I still have the original game and the graphic were good but not as great as now the game is awesome flawless and the music is breath taking I love game it's a great buy.

Not only are the graphics beautiful but the storyline is just amazing. You will fall in love with the characters and feel their pain and as you play through.

This game runs like a dream and plays like one - if you want to immerse yourself in a storybook tale with a deep combat system this is a good way to go.

It's a sweet looking side scrolling rpg! It is more fun that I expected it to be, seeing as how I never played Odin Sphere before.

The HD graphics on this re-make have to be seen to be believed. It is definitely one of the prettiest games on the PS4.

This game was on the ps2 and it was pretty good. Lots of new stuff added to the ps4 version and it plays very smooth.
