Great Films. I love Muppet films. They're #1!!!!!!

After taking my kids to see the 40th anniversary of The Muppet Movie last month, they begged me to get the next one, The Great Muppet Caper. Haven't seen Muppet Treasure Island yet.

The two movies share a lot of characteristics. Both find ways to involve almost all of “Muppet Show” cast. The muppet stars are Kermit, Fonzie, Gonzo, and Rizzo. Tim Curry is the human star for “Muppet Treasure Island” Diana Rigg for “The Great Muppet Caper.” Treasure Island adapts the plot of the book. Muppet Caper’s plot is jewelry theft sprinkled with largely English guest star cameos. (Only English television fans may recognize the “Poirot” cameo.). “Treasure Island” is the more satisfying story. (Tim Curry is a better villain than Charles Grodin. ) Both have enjoyable music, but “Muppet Caper” has more spectacular production numbers, including a water ballet. These pictures are the original “Muppet Show” quality; not the less interesting, Disneyfied recent productions.

I bought this one primarily for Muppet Treasure Island. I have loved this movie since seeing it in theaters as a kid. It is a very funny adaptation of R. L. Stevens' classic novel; so it actually has some educational value underneath all the muppets' insanity. I had never seen The Great Muppet Caper but hey, it's the muppets during Jim Henson's lifetime so it couldn't be bad. The price and convenience of getting both films made all the difference in choosing between this set or only Muppet Treasure Island. I am certainly not disappointed in either film. Time has not diminished them at all and I am so happy to share them with my own son.

This a great collection for any Muppet fan. The original classic second Muppet Movie, the Great Muppet Caper and the first Disney Muppet outing Muppet Treasure Island. How can you go wrong? DVD and Bluray.... The only disappointment was no Digital Copy... Boo! But, Awesome all the same.

Family has enjoyed the Muppet's for years. The Blu-ray versions and the extras provided make this purchase a sure thing. Can't go wrong with the Muppet's.

You cannot go wrong with the Muppets! We had these movies on VHS but needed to upgrade our technology and the movies along with it. We can't wait to watch these!

Fun!!! Fun!! Fun!!! Muppets rock. New age kids need this sort of classic entertainment. My kids and I have a great bonding cartoon to enjoy with my kids.

Having grown up I never real watched The Muppets, now with their revival thanks to the recent films I have been catching up on all the old movies. I love the humor especially the jokes that I would never quite get as a child, that I now get as an adult.

This is a great addition to anyone's Disney / Muppets collection. The price is great also for two blu-rays for the price of one. I love Muppets Treasure Island best, but the kids love both movies.

This is a nice bundle set with two of the classic-era Muppet movies together. The look and sound on them is great. Only real down-side for me was that there are very few bonus features.

I've seen both of these movies quite a few times in years past, and I still enjoy them. It's a good price since you get both movies on Blu-Ray and DVD.
