An absolute masterpiece of a game. I can still remember the first time I played it on Playstation 2 and being mesmerized by the mystic art style, enthralling story and flowing gameplay. Playing it gives a nostalgia that just plucks my little heartstrings. An excellent example of the many memorable and classic games from the Playstation 2.

You probably don’t need me to tell you how Okami HD turned out, but it’s exactly what you would expect. It’s a beautiful rendition of a classic game, now available on the current gaming platforms. Well, except for mysteriously missing on the Switch. I find this an odd exception since the game was ported to the Wii and even got a DS sequel called Okamiden, so the series has been on Nintendo platforms before. Okami HD would truly be at home on the Switch right next to the other consoles, but at least we have access to this game in HD and it’s definitely worth picking up. And that’s my only critique of this port, being that it was omitted from the Switch lineup. I guess Capcom hates money!

I missed this game the first time it came out, but after hearing so many recommendations and seeing it was just remastered, I finally decided to give it a chance, and so far it's a great game. The art style is very intriguing, the gameplay is fun and the story is interesting.

Okami has been released and ported a few times alrdy. First released on the PS2 10 years ago, then ported to the Wii w/ motion control, then on PS3 (digitally on the US), and now on PS4 & the Xbox. Great game, but don't have a 4K TV to see the game in 60FPS yet. If you have gotten the game on PS3 before and got the trophies, the PS4 version shares the same list of trophies from several years ago which is a bit disappointing. However the XBox One version would net you new achievements since this is the 1st time on a MS system.

Let me start off by saying that this is the best Zelda-like game ever. The game is beautiful like a watercolor painting come to life. The Japanese folklore-like story, makes this a very special setting for this kind of genre. It's fun bringing the world back to life with your celestial powers. The celestial brush techniques make combat very unique. One of the best games ever made.

I bought this game way back in 2006 when it released originally on the PS2, then again on PS3, now again on PS4! I knew it was gonna be good because I was a fan of its developer Clover Studios and their other IP Viewtiful Joe. The art style is what initially grabbed me when I booted up the game, then the amazing soundtrack, followed by the gameplay. To come back to it all in 4k was astounding and filled with so much nostalgia. Whether you're a new fan or an OG like me, this game is definitely worth your time and all the re-releases.

IF you like Japanese culture, charm, beautiful music and a story you're in for a treat! Yes, you have to read though no voice acting!

How did I miss this for so many years?! Great art, music, and most importantly gameplay. A def must buy!

While not to current standards visually, it's art style and gameplay still hold up and a blast to play.

I bought this game many times over the years on different consoles. this version and the switch one are the best versions of this game made so far. switch has portability and this has 4k. great story in a zelda style gameplay and progression.

I needed this game for my PS4 collection, played some of it on Wii and skipped the PS3 version. This version added 4K resolution, looks pretty cool still. Great game to add on a dirt cheap price.

Okami is a spectacular video game. Even though it's an older one, it still holds up amazingly well by today's standards. The HD remaster of it does it justice, as the game looks gorgeous on the Playstation 4. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Okami HD so far, as you learn more about Japanese folklore throughout the story and get entranced by the beautiful painted aesthetic. Whether you played it when it first came out or if you've been curious to try Okami for the first time, it is definitely worth it.

My wife is not a gamer other than the occasional hockey game. She also likes dogs. I thought this game would be a good one for her as you get to frolic around the world as a dog. She said it looked interesting when I showed her the trailer for it then tossed it aside. I guess I'll get to play it instead. At least I know it won't be exchanged for a terrible game like Star wars Battlefront 2.

Pretty fun game so far, looks really nice in HD. Has a dedicated bark button, what more could you want? Runs at 30FPS on PS4 and never seems to drop. Excellent price. If you like Zelda games pick this one up.

Had it on ps2 and Wii yet for some reason I never beat this beautiful underrated gem of a game, please do yourself a favor and buy it, it's gameplay is similar to 3d Zelda game.

... if your answer is "yes", buy this game immediately. It is a near perfect masterpiece of a game in all aspects. Artistic direction, soundtrack, story, dialogue... Okami is a Zelda clone through and through, but it is perhaps the best Zelda clone made to date. The head designer of the game is a longtime Zelda fan himself, and wanted to make his own Zelda-style game with a unique setting. He honors the veteran series with his own stunning work of action, exploration, and light puzzle solving in a cel-shaded world of ancient Japan done in a quasi "sumi-e" artstyle. The game is a technical marvel. Buy it.

Love this game. The storyline, theme, artwork, gameplay, characters and music is all very captivating. I haven’t been immersed in the game in quite some time. Even though the game is 13 years old, it still holds up. Much like Mega Man Legends there probably won't be a sequel/ prequel since Capcom disbanded the studio. It is truly a fun experience anyhow and Best Buy has it at a great price.

What a wonderful game even after all these years . Water color graphics that are stunning. Get ready to dive into the wonderful world of okami . Wonderful game play

This is like the 4th time I have bought this game. PS2, PS3 HD, Wii, and now on the ps4. Unique graphics and fantastic gameplay. It's enjoyable every time I play it.
