Used this camera with 45, 75, 12mm Olympus lenses. Jpegs are excellent out of camera. Chose Olympus over other brands because of the lens choices and reasonable prices and not to mention less bulk and weight to carry around for travel!

I have been using Nikon SLRs and DSLRs for quite a while. A friend who is a professional photographer recommended this camera because it is so small and light. LOVE IT! The camera has a lot of features that I am in the process of learning. But so far the pictures I have taken have been pretty good. I do like to photograph animals and it is pretty quick.

Love the ease of use and the picture quality. I have not yet used most of the settings because the 'auto' does such a good job. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is that you can't charge the camera via USB or plug in, you have to make sure you always have the separate battery charger and remove the battery to charge it.

I have used it a few times, but still working out how to use it. First thought was how small it felt in my hands. Took a few pictures and was surprised how nice the pictures turned out considering I wasn't even sure how to use it yet. I really wanted this camera for closeup shots. Still not sure if this camera will do nice closeups, so I can't honestly say either way as to weather I could recommend this camera to a friend, but since the review process mandates that you answer yes or no to that question, I'll go with yes.

I bought this camera on the recommendation of a better photographer. When I received it I started looking at all the features, it seems that it could do just about anything. I looked at every tutorial I could find and the more I learned, the more the endless list of features opened up. It lets you decide what the buttons and dials do in many cases. I highly recommend this to anybody who will listen. A great camera at a very good value.

Very simple to use and not clunky. Instructions, besides basic, are on a disk so if you are planning to a trip right away make sure you have a way to view the disk. I did not so am fumbling through a couple of settings but still enjoying.

Bought this camera to take on our fist African Safari. We got so up, close, and personal to all the Big Five and dozens more animals. We took 300 pictures and the quality of the pictures was fantastic rivaling others with huge fancy lenses.

This camera comes in handy especially if you're a traveler. I was getting tired of carrying a heavy camera around and decided to purchase the Olympus after researching the details. This is a good camera that can hold its own when taking shots.

The camera has a _very_ extensive set of capabilities and to take advantage of these, there is a learning curve. The abbreviated manual that comes with the camera only touches on some of the basic operations and downloading the full pdf version of the manual is a must. For me the ability to have entire manual control (including focus, shutter speed, aperture) is a fundamental feature since often auto-focus can fail and the use of polarisers can all fool the automatic selection of speed and aperture. So far I am satisfied, but having used it for less than a month there is still much to learn.

I've taken it out kayaking several times and the pictures turned out great. The battery door seems a tad flimsy but the rest of the camera seemed pretty solid. This is one of the best values for the micro 4/3 cameras.
