I gave the camera to my daughter as a wedding gift and they brought it on their honeymoon to Australia and loved it. Took it snorkeling, hiking, night time light shows, wildlife sanctuary, botanical gardens and came back with beautiful photos we all enjoyed. Even some great selfies with the camera operated from their cell phone. They said it was easy to use and they were very glad they had it with them.

Talk about making the right call! We bought a kayak and wanted to be able to take pics of our adventures without jeopardizing my canon 5d mIII so we got the tg3. First time out I put a 6ft leash on it and attached it to the kayak. I placed the camera on the seat of the kayak and prepared to launch. As we boarded, the camera went overboard (6ft). I yanked it up with the aide of a few four letter words, dried it off with a towel and paddled onward. Long story short, took a number of shots and they were not DLSR quality but better than cell phone. If you like to be adventerous and want to record it I would suggest you check out the TG3.

Bought this for vacation and was the best camera for the experience. Used it on the beach, no worries for sand, lotion, etc... then took it in the water and got GREAT shots while snorkeling! Used it in many other situations and it produced sharp, colorful, well balanced photos. I would recommend this for someone who is looking for a no worries camera for all situations in a little package.

Functioned very well in the wet jungle in south america, was exposed to heavy rain - did not have a problem. did get dropped over board in shallow water with no ill effects. wish it had a lens cover - have to be careful taking in and out of case, picture quality is fine for 5x7's - look for something with more pixels if you plan to blow up photos. Buy an extra battery and charger if you cannot charge the camera every night, good for about 250 pictures/charge, can do slo-mo and regular video, microphone is ok for use in quiet room, gets overwhelmed in areas of wind or loud noise

This is fun camera that takes clear colorful pictures on the go. I've had underwater, in the mud, on the run, in the woods and can't wait for the snow! It is intuitive to operate and will no doubt grow with me as I learn to operate it better.

Admittedly, I bought this to replace one I broke (left the waterproof door unlocked when I ran into the ocean... Not recommended). Photos are crisp, settings are very easy to navigate, and they improved the design so it would be hard for me to repeat my mistake with the old model! Used it on our honeymoon and took pictures while snorkeling, used the wifi to connect to my phone, and then uploaded pictures from the beach. Very cool features I never thought I'd need, but I'm glad I had it!

This is my second Olympus point and shoot camera. The first one was purchased on 2005 and now I got this. This is not only for tough and underwater purpose, you cause it for regular usage. This product is really awesome and will greatly satisfy people interested in fashion and trendy products ... The camer also has many features in it that are must try. If you plan to purchase it go ahead 5 star for it.

Besides the fact that it's waterproof and shock proof, it is also produces good quality pictures. It's easy to use and has some really useful and fun settings. It has multiple settings for normal pictures, good underwater settings, multiple exposure settings, time lapse movie options, and fun macro settings, and more. The low f-stop is a great feature as well as the LED light. All around a very handy and tough point-and-shoot.

I unfortunately had to replace my TG-1 so I read some reviews and decided to purchase the new TG-4 model. The TG-1 was so reliable and worked great for beach days, snorkeling, and various outings that I thought the new TG-4 would be as reliable. One review said the battery life on the TG-4 didn't last long but I haven't had any problems with them and they seem to last longer the the ones I used for my older TG-1. I now have used this TG-4 several times and so far it's been great and has worked as well as the TG-1 in taking great pics. It works well for me and my activities and I highly recommend.

I bought this for my girlfriend. She really wanted a rugged, waterproof camera, and this one delivers. Low-light isn't great, and the zoom isn't very far unless you buy the additional lens. That being said, great bang for your buck, and you won't worry about it breaking or getting wet.

Pros: Great pictures, underwater settings produce good results, remote control from my iPhone is a nice feature and works great as does wifi upload of photos. Overall the camera is rugged and offers the full set of features. Hand it to kids in a pool and you get hours of entertainment and a memory card full of underwater selfies! Cons: Setting the camera down on its LCD display repeatedly has resulted in scratches.

I bought this camera to take kayaking with me. It takes great photos. It communicates with my phone, which is nice (but not in a kayak). The camera has numerous settings, but the telephoto is limited. I also got the two lens conversion kits. I promptly knocked the telephoto lens off the camera with my paddle and into the water. The connection is not terribly secure. The converter is also a bit limited as compared to my Canon 7D, but that one isn't waterproof. This is a good camera for what it is meant to be.
