THis Camera is Awesome.. I use it for Work, and while I'm out on the boat or in the woods. The GPS is great for work. No longer need to have extra equipment with me. THe GPS logs Everything for me. This thing is tough too, have dropped it multiple times and it still works. The only Problem with this camera is the 4x optical zoom. Thats it, just not enough zoom power, now reason there couldn't be atleat 5x digital zoom if not more. if you want more zoom you need to buy the attachment plus the special ring, which is plastic. Thinking about getting the Nikon version to see if its better... But I would recommend this camera otherwise. The microscope function is cool.

Great camera for sports, especially water/under water. Pictures are sharp and the colors are vivid. Menu menu leaves a little to be desired but is okay once you get used to it.

I have used this camera on several dives for underwater photography. This camera takes excellent still pictures as well as video too. I would highly recommend this for anybody doing underwater photography.

I originally thought that I was use the camera for a back up and for video (4K ability) which works great. It has lots of user control. To be able to change for your shooting preferences. I discovered that I am really impressed with the focus stacking in macro mode. If you want a durable grab-and-go camera this would be a good choice. On the downside, the problem I have is not being able to choose the shutter speed manually or a full manual mode.

The Olympus Tough TG-5 has one feature set that is hard to beat, literally. This pocket-sized camera is weather sealed, waterproof and shock resistant. It is the one to take with you when your activities are more important than your equipment. If you are taking wedding portraits or Ansel Adams shots of Yosemite, you might want to bring something else, but then again, you might be surprised at the quality of this 12MP camera and its 25-100mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens and 4K video. Plenty of digital features, too, from focus peaking to face recognition. There are many point and shoot cameras that also allow creative control, but this camera is the one to set the standard.

Got this camera for our scuba diving pictures. I don’t think there’s a better camera on the market for diving. Especially for macro pictures. And definitely at this price point.

I have had two previous models of this camera and have used them extensively in backpacking, bicycle touring, motorcycle touring, and cross-country skiing adventures. They have all (including the "5") been exposed to rain, snow, swimming in salt and fresh water, extreme vibration in tank and handle bar bags on bicycles and motorcycles, and even a few dips in hot springs. None have ever failed me and the old ones have been passed on to other family members and continue to take great photos. The new menu system takes a bit of getting accustomed to if your are familiar with the previous versions, but all of the great functions are still there if you search for them.

We bought this camera because we were traveling to Hawaii and were planning on getting wet and using it snorkeling. No problems and it took great pictures.

I searched awhile to find a good under water camera. This one is of great quality, has adapters, albeit expensive, and small enough to carry in your pocket.

I had an old Canon waterproof camera, which, while it served its purpose, was definitely getting old and the picture quality was just not very good by today's standards. I did some research and settled on this camera, and I've been very happy with it! It's very easy to use, and I got some great shots of my kids playing in the waves in Hawaii. Definitely worth the money. I don't like the fact that there's no separate battery charger- you have to use a cable, which means that juggling spare batteries is more difficult. Other than that, it's a great camera.

This camera is great, especially for industrial use. reliable, holds up well under hard conditions. Like the red color to see it better in certain circumstances.

Needed a waterproof camera. And I love it. Worked well on my river trip. Definitely need to get more batteries when you dont have access to charge.

Bought this for a vacation where we’d be doing a lot of ocean activities. It did great in the water & took great photos! Love it!!!

Nice little camera with a bazillion features. The auto focus for still photo is ok and there are plenty of workarounds. However, the video autofocus becomes an real issue. About 20% of my video was ruined waiting for the autofocus to correct depite how I used it and what setting I used. Zooming in was the biggest problem as the autofocus would be 4 seconds behind ( so your zoomed frame is now out of focus) or it would go in an out of focus once zoomed in despite having the center weighted focus aimed at the subject. Distant shots ( over 150') would still produce confusing for the auto focus. I tried several settings for the auto focus and gave up. Also, when zooming in or out the mechanism makes a winding noise that is overwhelming in the audio of the video playback. I bought this to take the place of a mid-level still camera and a video camera and it wont fit that bill. I'm just as good off with my iPhone and a go pro.

I bought this camera for our honeymoon and the quality of the pictures under water and above water were excellent. I highly recommend it!

No worries dropping it or getting it wet. Picture quality is great too. It has all bells and whistles that I can imagine.

It takes great pictures on land and under water. The macro is sharp and very detailed. I need to learn all the options this camera offers.

This waterproof camera is absolutely fantastic it takes great photos can shoot at 20 frames per second and shoots 4k video works great.

We just bought this camera for a family member since we have the TG-4 and love it! Great for under water and above water!

Takes great pictures even handles salt water. App works fairly well but can be a bit clunky with Bluetooth set up.
