Instruction are fair easy to use and support videos are easy to understand. I’m still unsure how it will work for caving photos, because I know very litter of aperture and exposure, but thanks to TG-5, I’m learning.

while it doesnt have the best or super zoom, it worked great under water while snorkeling and takes good action shots....took a while to learn all the tricks and other modes of photos that its able to shoot. ...but overall its a good compact camera!

Does not focus as quickly as I had hoped. Several pictures including still landscape were not in focus. It is rugged. I have similar Cannon, Olympus and Fugi models. Noy a lot different.

I like my camera-it takes good pictures. The only reason I bought it was for the GPS. One of the Geek Guys set it up for me. But it did not give me locations when I took pictures. I need more help evidently!!

The camera is excellent for super close ups of anything you need to capture in fine detail. There is a "microscope mode" that allows you to capture super small items in fine detail.

I picked this camera because of it's ability to track where picture is taken and it does a good job. The camera is a little complicated and is not for a beginner.

I got this primarily because it shoots raw files which can be edited in Lightroom. Otherwise, very similar to the TG-3 with some nice physical upgrades (additional buttons and wheels).

IT OFFERS A "SUPER MACRO" WHICH IS MUCH BETTER THAN PREVIOUS CAMERAS I HAVE OWNED. I CAN ENLARGE A 10 mm SIZE SMALL OBJECT TO ABOUT 35 mm SIZE WITH UNIFORM CLARITY!

I use this camera for my work where I have to work by the water in sever weather conditions. The camera work great in these conditions and the pictures are so clear.

It works. A bit hard to decipher pairing with phone app. Very good on close up pics. As with any point and shoot it is marginal.

The macro (called microscope on this camera) is extremely good! However, I bought this camera less than a year ago and have had to replace it twice for some unexplainable electronics issue that causes the camera to fail to come on properly. If it didn't have such a great macro setting, I would not have replaced it twice, but the macro outweighs the annoyance of having to turn the camera in for a replacement.

This camera is awesome. I love being able to wirelessly transfer my photos. I also love that I can control it with my phone. Great value!

This is my second "Olympus Tough" camera. First was the TG4, which broke within about 3 months of use. Due to time restrictions I needed a new camera that day and went with a TG5 as a replacement. I dropped it today, 5/31/2018 at about 3'. Keep in mind the camera is rated for a 7' drop. It says it clearly on the face of the camera. The LCD screen is now black. These camera are not "tough" they're junk!

The reason that I bought this camera is that is has a very sturdy construction and the option of very close picture photos.

I especially like the size. Only drawback is that there is no way to cover and protect the lens.

This camera is great we use it on job sites and love it for its portability and simple use.

I’ve had Olympus Tough cameras before and enjoyed them. So far so good with this one as well.

Bought this camera to take to Fiji to use in the water. It worked well!

The previous model to this one was a much better camera. We've had this and its previous 3 models. This one is not even as good as the previous one and the camera lens is not even as wide. The price keeps getting higher and the quality gets worse.
