I went from a old asus laptop to a HP Omen desktop and wanted to awesome 144hz 1ms monitors for gaming and streaming. I did a lot of research and ended buying the 25" hp omen 144hz monitors and absolutely love them! the picture on both monitors are so clear and make a huge difference when it goes up to 144hz especially for gaming! i couldn't recommend this enough :)

Love this monitor. I have had mine shorter than a year. Bought it Xmas 2017. Monitor was on super sale for 199.99. Even at full price this is a great gaming monitor. 144hz, display port, and great colors. I play competitive gaming for csgo and pubg and haven’t let me down once. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to a friend or family or anyone else.

The Monitor does what it says it will do pretty well but i gotta say the stand kinda is a draw back, for 30 bucks more you can get the same sized asus 144hz monitor that comes with an amazingly adjustable stand and feels better overall (i own both). Their is 0 adjustment to the omen monitor on the stand it has in the box and that has to be its biggest con.

This monitor changed the way I look at screens forever! The resolution is beautiful and the refresh rate is so good, but the best thing about it is it's price. For $200, it gives a gamer everything they need. I personally match RGB products with the monitor's scheme.

The HP Omen 25 is crisp, has great color reproduction, decent viewing angles, lot's of ports, and yes, it's fast at just 1ms. You just can't buy a better monitor at this price. And they give you an HDMI cable. Who does that? If you want your games to be super smooth and want to have that little 1ms edge on your buddies, this is a great monitor that won't break the bank.

This HP Omen 25" monitor has a great picture quality, but WOW - when connected to my HP Omen Gaming PC it is phenomenal! The ability to run at 144Hz, as opposed to the standard 60Hz, really makes a difference when gaming. Not sure it would be too noticeable in everyday office type use, but that isn't who buys these. :)

even 6 years later this monitor has been nothing but great. Yes you could get better ones at this time, but its very reliable

Sharp and bright - a very well made monitor. I've seen smoother displays, but most of them cost 300+. This is very good for its price especially it was on sale (I already miss the lowest sale price, but I am still happy when I had to pay $30 more). I am satisfied.

This monitor is great. A huge upgrade. Games look and feel alot better. 144Hz is noticeable. (only works for PC gaming using the display port NOT HDMI and messing with a few settings.) There is a info button on the monitor that will let you know what the refresh rate is and resolution. I originally got this for my PC and thought what the heck lets see how my Xbox looks. It made the games look and feel better than my TV. For the price you cant go wrong here. setting it up took me 10 minutes.

I have no idea why this monitor has so many positive reviews. Far too much bleed coming from the outer edges of the screen. It wasn't patchy bleed, it was a very strong glow around the whole edge where the panel connected to the bezel. Secondly, the bezel, because it isn't flush with the panel itself, creates a mirror like effect at the top portion of this monitor. This reflects the top part of your screen which is really annoying. You have to see it to sorta understand what I mean. Lastly, there was an issue with the whole panel itself where it looked like there was water damage behind the panel. It made the middle section of the panel seem like there was something behind it which caused areas to be darker or lighter. Very noticeable in top-down games like Don't Starve.. not so noticeable in games like Overwatch, pubg or dead by daylight. Other issues like when you power the monitor off.. it disconnects from my PC as if it was removed... this doesn't happen with my LG monitors. IF these issues were addressed.. this would be a 5 star 144hz 1080p tn panel. Build quality seems 10/10, sturdy stand, great ports and many connections. I wouldn't recommend this monitor unless you're not very picky.

i love this monitor i got it when it was on sale for a good 189.99 it has a good 144Hz so experience less screen flickers then my old monitor and you can also have the choice to have low blue light or make it freesync (not like i get screen cracks) and this is a amazing monitor if you are intermediate gamer or advanced would recommend to anyone

This monitor looks aesthetically pleasing but that's about it. 144hz and 1ms is the minimum need for gaming theses days so this fits the bill. Only thing missing is an IPS panel. Idk what panel this monitor has instead but it seems ok.

Its an extremely good monitor for its price. It lets you have 60 - 144hz and you can even choose in between if your system isn't strong enough. The 1ms response time really minimizes the latency and lag. I did notice a dead pixel however, but it's just one and doesn't affect gameplay. It might've just been me setting it up.

Great gaming monitor for the price, especially considering I got it on sale for $189. I have had no issues with picture, pixels, or framerate, but there is some light bleed from the left side so I will be exchanging it for another one.

I purchased the HP OMEN 25 in hopes that I could find a replacement for my current monitor which is an LG ultrawide 29um67-p. I was sold on the 144 hz refresh rate which is more common on TN panels. But like other TN panels I was unimpressed with the viewing angles and the colors. The picture is very hazy and even after customizing the settings I was still disappointed. The Freesync feature is awesome and does benefit gamers who have an AMD GPU. This is a good entry level gaming monitor but I will go back to my LG monitor because of the huge difference in picture quality which is attributed to its IPS panel.

Just wanted to give potential buyers a heads up. The package says 1080p 144hz, but once you open it, the documentation states that it's optimized for 1080p 60hz. AKA it doesn't perform well at 144hz at all. Skipped frames, lots of stuttering. Couple that with the excessively wobbly stand (although the headphone hanger is nice), and colors that can't quite be calibrated right. Overall disappointing. I'd recommend spending a little more money and getting a BenQ or something along those lines, as this monitor was disappointing. Returned it after less than a week.

After doing much research into 144Hz monitors, I decided to purchase the Omen by HP. On the outside, this monitor looks amazing with the dark colors and red accents. Performance wise the monitor is great. I love the different levels of customization you can calibrate within the monitor and different viewing modes. Like other people, I did have to dig into my PC settings to set the monitor to 144Hz. Only downside is the monitor is not height adjustable, you can only angle it up and down to a certain degree. I'll have to buy a monitor stand to raise it up. I probably would buy another one if they dropped the price again, the current $279 price is too much for this monitor that lacks some adjustability.
