When I first played Omori, I was surprised by how much it stuck with me, because at first it looks like a simple game but once you dive in, it becomes an emotional and unforgettable experience. The hand drawn art style is colorful and creative, giving the game a unique charm, but what really stood out to me was how the cheerful visuals contrasted with the deeper, more serious themes that made the story feel powerful and meaningful. The gameplay was also more interesting than I expected, since instead of just being a regular RPG, it includes an emotion system where characters can feel happy, sad, or angry, and those feelings change the outcome of battles in a way that makes you think carefully about every choice. The music also added so much to the game, shifting from light and relaxing to heavy and emotional depending on the scene, always pulling me deeper into the story. I'm pretty new to RPGs, so this game is already special because of it's fun gameplay and design. The amount of creativity and artwork in Omori is amazing and Omocat and her team did such a great job. This game gets really deep with the story as it dives into the psyche of the main character and his struggle for coping with the past and what he wants for the future. Additionally the gameplay is super fun and leveling up is relatively easy because the game is set up for telling the story moreso than focusing on leveling up. Overall this is probably my favorite game of all time. There's multiple endings and every time I play it there seems to be things I've missed. It's also so worth it to own the physical game as it comes with photo cards. This is a must play!

Omori is a special game which, upon further contemplation, now stands as one of the best games I've ever played. Creatively you see from the start the art was done with love and will immediately draw you in. OMOCAT brought their unique vision to this piece and it is something players will enjoy with their entire time with this game. Then there's that soundtrack. Days after completing my first playthrough of the game I'm still listening to it. Not only do you get some real nostalgia with some 8bit tunes, but you also have some surprise orchestrations, waltzes, electronic music, jazz... The composers brought their very best and this soundtrack is a true achievement. The most impactful part of this game is its story and its handling of important topics like depression, anxiety, facing your fears, suicide, and the value of friendship. Never did I feel they were exploiting these topics and they were perfectly interspersed throughout the entire story, which takes place across 20-23 hours of playtime. If there is a game I've recently played which I will recommend to everyone it's Omori. I hope the popularity and impact of this game continues to grow.

The gameplay mixes classic RPG mechanics with creative, surreal elements that keep everything fresh and engaging. Exploring the world, meeting its characters, and discovering its secrets was an experience I couldn’t put down. If you enjoy story-driven games with heart, personality, and real emotional impact, OMORI is an absolute must-play on the Switch. Easy 5 stars.

I love this game! A lot of people have said it has changed their lives and I understand why. In my opinion, it's a masterpiece! It does contain some very serious themes, so go into it with that in mind. But the game is mature in discussing these topics. It may look cute on the outside, but it's a very deep look on how certain life events could destroy you mentally and what happens to you during that time. It is definitely not for kids! Also, it is definitely not for the vulnerable and/or faint of heart! There is even a warning before the title screen discussing the themes this game has. You have been warned. I love this game so much that this is my second copy of it, my first being on Steam. Art is great, music is beautiful, writing is phenomenal, combat is fun, and the characters are amazing. I can't recommend this game enough!

Great story with a great atmosphere. It really gives me earthbound vibes but with more spookiness.

Game arrived quickly and was brand new. The game itself is amazing. I’m kicking myself for not picking it up sooner. Such a good game. We’re almost in October and I’ve been thinking this would be a fun Halloween game, so might replay it again soon. 10/10 recommend.

i have been wanting to get this game for a long time! it is one of my favorites and glad to have experienced this beautifully written story for myself now. give it a try! heads up: it's a mind trip and if you cannot handle dark themes as of right now, save it for another day!

Its hard to explain what this game is about without spoiling anything, but if you enjoy turn based combat, a charming world, funny shenanigans, horror elements, and a deep heartfelt story , then this is the game for you! And dont forget, its in the toy box.

This is the best video game story I've ever experienced. Each character has their own unique feel to them and not a single one is bad. It has a unique spin on the standard RPG combat formula, which I appreciate. This game made me experience emotions that I haven't felt in a very long time. It's gut wrenchingly sad, but balances it well with happier moments. It's a story everyone needs to experience, even for non-gamers.

This was a gift for my daughter and I could only find it here. She has wanted this game since last year. It does have a storyline dealing with death so mot for young gamers. My daughter enjoyed the storyline and dedication put into the game. The music, storyline, and artwork is beautiful.

You wanna be sad. Then buy this game. Good music, interesting story, memorable bosses, good art direction, likeable characters and a story that will leave you depressed or empty towards the end of the journey…or maybe some hope. I personally give a 9/10. This game has a very interesting lore and even after finishing it, it has left a mark on my very soul and has me thinking of the of the-story.

Beauiful game about depression, facing the truth, grief, and so much more. I truly love this game. It left such a lasting impact on me and I’ve played it 5 times in a row or more already. Buy it, it’s worth your time. This is my first time actually crying while playing a game or feeling a sense of relief when the good ending comes on my screen. Amazing.

In a world of industry standards this game sure does deliver. Awesome game can't stop playing it just ask my wife lol. This game is awesome fun unique. Its engaging it has a nice art style it has a good story to follow. It has good replay value.

Amazing game. Fun RPG mechanics that don't get stale, dark story, spooky horror elements, fun characters, amzing artstyle and world building, and much more. Omori was, without a doubt, one of the best RPGs/game i have ever experienced.

The game is a good and a little challaenging since they do give a lot of instrution to follow on. i love the graphyic and game play. it remains me of earth bound

Great game kept me on my toes the entire time. While the story was heartbreaking, and definitely worthy of a pause, I would highly recommend folks purchase and play this game.
