Dr. advised me to get this model - not wrist model, for more accurate readings.

My doctor told me that I needed to start watching my blood pressure and recommended Omron. I wanted a machine that would sync with my iPhone so I could keep track of my vitals in the Health App, and this machine does that.
You just download Omron's app and it will sync with Health App.
My wife likes it because you can have 2 profiles on one machine, allowing her no to track her vitals.
Super easy to get set up and working. Takes your vitals really fast, about 30 seconds, and the big screen is super easy to read.

Since purchasing this machine, it has given inaccurate readings. I have taken the machine several times to my doctor's office. She takes my blood pressure and then we immediately take it with my Omron machine. The top numbers are always at the same or very close. The bottom numbers on my machine are always 20-30 points greater than the doctor's numbers. Clearly, the machine does not work properly. I sent it back to the manufacturer and they sent it back to me saying it meets all of their minimum requirements and would not refund my money or exchange the machine for a different one.
In addition, the advertising is very deceiving. It makes it appear that you can transfer your BP readings to your phone and receive the data with graphs etc. First, it does not link very well to my iPhone. Sometimes it works, other times it does not. Moreover, for the first month, it does gave you very nice charts of your readings which my doctor liked very much. However, after a month, this stops unless you purchase a ridiculously expensive subscription! Of course you find this out only AFTER the return period ends. Shameful. Don't waste your money.
