One of the best mini-series ever

Sam Elliot is great in this mini-series. I put it right up there with “The Winds of War”. I really liked the way he showed the day-to-day Army life, the petty and the grand. It felt like I’d done a hitch with them. It makes me glad all the services had some who would keep things together between the wars.
