One of the few games I kind of wish was shorter, because when the game is on the golden path and pushing you through it's best content it's fantastic. Unfortunately it does pad that material out quite a bit with an open roaming area and quests to revisit old stages that I feel hurt the pacing more than add to the value. Anyways, the combat is relatively simple but the animations and feedback feel excellent so it really gives a decent samurai power fantasy. The boss fights are the real highlight and they are the reason to play the game. A very promising restart to this franchise. Worth playing.

As my first time playing Onimusha series, just WOW. What an amazing story and graphics this game has, and the combat is amazing! it took me 30 to complete which i‘d say is a good length for the price. This game definitely makes me want to visit the old onimusha games. Another CapCom hit!
