This sounds excellent with my Onkyo surround sound receiver and would work with any other receiver also. It has extra power adjustment on the back if needed.

Great subwoofer for my Onkyo surround sound system.

Went to my local BB and was told BB does not carry this unit in the stores. Therefore, I ordered online and received it at my local BB within a week. The box arrived damaged but the BB employee was awesome and he opened the box to make sure the unit was not damaged. The unit was fine. Brought the unit home and connected with super ease. I bought this unit to replace my Polk audio PSW110 which had a crackin' sound that drove me nuts (BTW, this was my second PSW110 and the same thing happened with the first one. I am ABSOLUTELY DONE with the PSW110's). I have only owned this Onkyo subwoofer for one week so time will eventually tell. However, the sound is noticeably better than my previous subwoofer. For the price, it's a very good buy. The bass is potent enough for you to feel, appreciate and enjoy. With BB's awesome return policy, don't hesitate to give this subwoofer a shot.

You want to feel like your in the movie? Get your body vibrating during a thrilling scene? Then this bass is for you. Pro: cost, size is tall and thin. Con: not able to power off remotely.

This is my first powered subwoofer and the bass brings tv and movies to life. I cant wait to watch movies with a lot of action. The thump of body blows or the impact of bullets is amazing. Music wise i had to turn the bass down, it rattles everything in the house including your bones. This speaker is amazing.

I had a POLK that I paid almost $300 for about 4 yrs ago, but it NEVER sounded as good as this Onkyo! It is great for watching Scifi movies, not to mention actual music.

I am 62 yrs old and have had plenty of High End Audio equipment. I didn't buy this for that but my garage with 7.1 surround system. From day one it couldn't compete with a sound bar for the Samsung tv. All my speaker's are ceiling mount. I have never and will never buy a Onkyo product again. I didn't want spend $400.00 For a Sub in the garage but I guess I will. Junk!

Don't waste your money. Mine didn't even last a year, it started making a popping noise. Called the company on several occasions and they could not help. Will never buy Onkyo again.
