Worth the money

I use it to push an old school Bose Acoustimass system with the addition of two extra Bose front floor speakers. I run all of my component through this amp to my TV and it all works seamlessly.It takes a little patience to get it set up, but it's well worth it!

Feature Packed, Easy to set up

I have had this setup for a month and no issues. This is my second Onkyo receiver... my first lasted about 5 years before the sound stopped working... I hope this one lasts a little longer.

Great as a stereo

I wanted something that I could upgrade down the road should i decide to add a tv in there as well. Works really well and has great reception on the tuner. The sound is very clear to a little above 90% full volume

Solid budget receiver with plenty to offer

Good power with no problems pushing my large polk fronts and full on 7.1 surrounds. Wi-Fi built in and ready for streaming right out of the box. Great score at the $200 price point I paid. Very happy

It has only one limitation, it needs an update (not released yet by the manufacture) in order to perform Airplay. Other than that., receiver does what's is supposed to be including features you might overlook at first like the AM/FM radio or Internet radio.

Excellent price for the features!

I looked at the 757 as well; this unit is 100 cheaper and really is just missing the THX certification. It performs every bit as well. The 757 had some home security options that are redundant for me. The sound is excellent.

I strongly recommend this receiver for surround speakers around the house and for your main TV.
