I will be the first to tel you I don't know a ton about receivers and what makes one better than the other. For what we wanted (TV, movies, music) it works great. Bluetooth and wifi enabled is a good feature too

I like the capability of having a zone 2 which allows a separate room

This unit replaced my 12 year old unit that I had to fake its death to replace. Lol. It was time to take advantage of the connectivity for going 4K. Sounds crystal clear. Could not be happier. Highly recommend

Great value money versus features. Sounds great and has all the options needed for other components, i.e. TV, dvd, TiVo, Satellite box, Ect. Would make same decision to purchase again.

Loud-Proud and in charge. you want need another receiver for years.

Still have not completely configured system have downloaded online advanced manual but have not yet gone through it to the level I think I will need to. Have not yet tested all the features so I'm glad I got the extended service contract.

This receiver is definitely an upgrade from our previous one. We love the blue tooth option and the option to be able to play one thing through the tv and one thing through the outdoor speakers.

Although we haven't learned all there is to know a out this product we are very pleased with it. We are able to play music at high volumes without the distortion our old receiver had. The remote leaves us disappointed but we're dealing with it.

After buying a Marantz, Yamaha,Pioneer and a Denon I settled on this Onkyo. It has most of the features of the more expensive units and preforms just as well at a fraction of the cost.

Easy set up. Easy to navigate. Paired with my 4K TV & direct TV 4K box, & new sony 4K player, AWESOME!!! My boys even asked to set up Nintendo Switch with the "boom boom" as they refer to it.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. For the first time all my a/v units are fully integrated through the receiver and access is just one or two clicks away. With one click of my tv remote the tv and receiver both come on. If I want to watch tv and listen through the tv speakers, I have to turn the receiver back off, and it automatically switches the audio back to the tv. If I decide I want the big speakers after all, the receiver automatically switches off the tv speakers when it comes on. Audio for movie-watching on my DVD player? One click. Audio for gaming on my XBox? One click. Haven't tried any of the music streaming options yet, but I'm sure they'd be primo, too. Highly recommended!

Nice receiver for connecting multiple game systems. Took a while to determine which connection to use for each game system but once set up with wired speakers and not sound bar it works great. Could not use this receiver with my sound bar.

Slow streaming capabilities but great picture and sound. I love the double bass feature. It's a very big receiver so plan accordingly with shelf space. It doesn't like my Xbox one but maybe I need to upgrade my hdmi cable to the TV.

This is a great receiver great features for the $$$. The remote is hard to work in the zone 2 application other than that it is fantastic love the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capability of this receiver

The setup required calling the company despite YouTube videos.

I've been using it for 3 month. I have used it as 5.1.2 system which works perfect. My speakers are all klipsch and does not require a lot of power this made my amp to be cool most of the time.

I like this receiver a lot better than the Yamaha one I had first. It has more features and is easier to use and understand than the Yamaha. We use it almost every time we watching tv in our living room.

Great clarity in sound and picture transmission with an ability to change from cd to DVDs to bluray to 4K quality sound automatically in a heart beat. Probably a little more time but you get the drift

For a pretty modest configuration, this receiver works marvelously. You get everything basic you may need for your entertainment system, and some more. Pretty happy.

Purchased this receiver over the holidays on sale, the price was hard to ignore. I have it hooked up to the Sony Core Series speaker set and it sounds better than I could have imagined.
